Because not every parents can provide for their children. Lots of kids are out there without food and clothe.
It's very good to appreciate your parents for meeting your needs so that they can do more.

I disagree with this one because I believe everyone, not just children, ought to be thankful to those who give to them. It is more an issue of common courtesy than of obligation to parents in my view.

Yes, it is wrong that some parents feel they need to be glorified by their kids in return for feeding them, but I don't believe it is wrong for parents to teach their kids to say thank God after every meal.

i remembered when i was still young, after every meal i do say thank you to my mum. believe me, this singular act alone will shape you for life. you will learn to be grateful to people no matter how little the help is
