I was at the market yesterday and prices are have not really gone up as people are hushing everywhere

I got 2 fair-sized live chickens at NGN2,500 each. I attribute it to divine favour though.

I shocked with mixed feelings of bad and feel good at thesame time.
Although it's generally on the bad side for everyone in Nigeria, but for those earning in dollars trust me are praying it should go higher.
I wanted to place a withdrawal of $2,500 from my GetResponse affiliate account when I googled the dollar exchange rate only to discover it's now N816 per dollar, double what I used to know, meaning my expected withdrawal has doubled overnight to 2,041,250 naira. I Didn't place the withdrawal again, I will wait for a few more days cause am sure it will surely go up again before something is done by the govt to advert the situation. Am now checking the rate constantly for best profit to place my withdrawal, at least my family won't suffer the leap that much. Similarly for others working and getting paid in dollars. Why won't I cry when i bought a litre of fuel @ #600 and I heard that there are filling stations in osun state selling for #65 per litre.

Why won't I cry when i ordered laptops that were supposed to be bought at a cheaper rate, but we're bought with an additional 10% rate.
But a friend of mine doing the same business from Ekiti state just told me that dollars were subsidized for him at a -70% rate @ 150# per dollar.

Our cry is a genuine cry and we aren't going to hide it , because we want the best for the country, We aren't like all those Crying and Smiling hypocrites, that will be dying slowing, and can't say the truth, but prefare to die in silence. just because of tribalism

As far as Tinubu is the president of Nigeria, naira loosing value to dollar is a good thing for the country, it will make the poor masses double their hustle, think innovatively, seek for education and get used to suffering. Peradventure naira rises to #1000 per dollar it's also a good sign that the economy is getting stable (So far tinubu is still the president). This will bring Nigeria to a stage that economies of countries like USA, China, Japan,Germany, France, Russia and India, will be depending on Nigeria economy, as they will also be listening to President Tinubu speech before they make any policy concerning their economy. it will make importation unattractive. When we dont import, the people selling to us will be forced to set up their shop in nigeria. Also less import, less pressure on the naira and the price comes down.
