Nelly was definitely the face of St. Louis hip hop back in the early 2000s, but Chingy literally hit the “Jackpot” when he debuted in 2003 with his smash hit single “Right Thurr”.

And with Ludacris guiding his steps, Chingy was dropping hit after hit, including joints like “Balla Baby”, “Holidae Inn”, and “Pullin’ Me Back”.

But it didn’t stop there, as he was also making appearances in TV shows and films. These include the comedy series “My Wife And Kids”, “One On One”, and “Scary Movie 4”.

But after all the success he had musically and on TV, the superstar rapper seemed to fade away into the shadows as the years rolled by.

Did his beef with Nelly have anything to do with his decline in the music industry? Or was it his departure from Ludacris’ Disturbing Tha Peace Records?

Who knows? But if you were a fan of his music, then you might be wondering what Chingy is up to these days?
Well, he might not be the hottest rapper in the world anymore, but he’s still very active in the music industry.

Chingy signed to Universal Music Group’s Bungalo Records in 2017, and he continues to perform till date. Some of his most recent concerts include the Millennium Tour with B2K in 2019, and his United States tour with Mya and Ginuwine in 2021.

He also recently held a concert in Vegas on the 8th of July, and was a guest performer at Nelly’s “Hot In Here” concert in Toronto last month.

That being said, it's safe to say that his beef with Nelly is officially over. It's also great to see the St. Louis native still doing his thing on stage. And believe it or not, the crowd still rocks to his music like it was brand new!
