Despite of our religion we should still hold up to our culture 💯💯
Why do you choose to be slaves to art, rituals and culture created by humans like you?

Which one is seeing masquerade for the first time?

Your women covering their faces with clothes, what makes them different from the masquerades?

Later you will be the one to claim victim when they reply you in the language you understand.
Someone went to Igboland and is praising Igbo culture only for you to reply with gutter mouth

Nonsense cannibals everywhere.

There was no need for that at all. The poster is appreciating the culture of another part of the country, can't we for once just come together and enjoy a positive thread?

I drink beer pass you. Kaduna alone have two Beer Brewing plants. Jos has one too. The North also produce varieties of local Beers and they are sold in local Beer joints.

The way Nigerian Breweries produce varieties of Beers like Big Stout, Legend, Star, Gilder etc. That's how there are varieties of local Beers in the North.

You will find drunkards in Christian dominated areas. We refer to those northern Christians as Chongai. They make and drink locally made alcohol called burkutu and they also eat dog and pig meat.

Very rarely will you find a Hausa man that drinks and no Hausa man eats dog or pig meat

My cousin spent over $20,000 dollars bringing his father's body all the way from canada to Nigeria for burial because it is our culture.

Does this not look like foolishness to you?

Is Kaduna Middle Belt? Abi you know my identity pass me?

Kataf man. Banza bakwai wey you be

You are not a true Northerner. Katafawas drink burkutu and eat dog and pig meat. Their girls CHEAPP pass pure water. Na indomie dem dey take runs dem.

For clearer identification, it is best you identify yourself as someone from the midde belt. That way, people will understand you better. Using the northern identity will cast you in a particular way as you can see already from those asking you questions.

Middle belt has a lot of good Muslim who don't drink nor eat dog and pig meat.

Thos guys are Chongai AKA Katafawas who eat dog meat and pig meat while drinking burkutu

Fejoku:

I don't claim to know your identity better than you but simple geography will put Kaduna especially Southern Kaduna in Central Nigeria. That by default placed you in the middlebelt coupled with the fact that the middlebelt identity is for the many northern minority ethnic groups who seek an independent identity themselves away from the Hausa and Fulani hegemony. I suspect you're from one of such tribes owing to the claims of the local brew you to talked about.
Now, am I still wrong to assume you're from the middlebelt?

Na Chongai man him be
Chongai AKA Katafawas AKA banza bakwai

They drink burkutu like fish while eating dog and pig meat. They are traditionally descendants of SLAVES to the Hausa/Fulani. They mostly lead worthless and wasted lifestyles owing to their alcoholic addictions which is rampant in their societies.

Why are you honoring your ancestors, where they not humans like you? Are you not going to die like them?
Are they the God that created you?

Willful foolishness.
Exactly why the blackman will never rise up. He is a slave to his backward ideas.

The people who made that traditional rule that igbos must be buried at home, were humans like you. Why must you foolishly follow the directions of archaic bushmen without thinking? If you go against the rule, will you die?

I am from the North. I went to Ogidi idemili North Anambra state to have a glimpse of what new Yam festival looks like. I ended up staying in Ogidi for several hours.

It was a colourful event. I saw varieties of Masquerades. I've never seen a Masquerade physically except on TV. One particular Masquerade caught my attention most. It is this tall masquerade that is taller than Cars.

I learn't that it is called Izaga Mou in Igbo, while Yoruba call it Alangere

All the rule were set up by men, both quran, bible and Igbo rule,it's better for an Igbo man to follow rules made by his ancestors than follow Bible rules made by Another person ancestors.common sense
