When students are paying 200k for hostel accommodation why won’t Uni charge u 50k for laboratory

We pay Millions to mush room universities in west Africa

As far as ASUU won’t strike again and all funds belong to universities to develop the Uni it’s welcome
university administration should be better by the way and let ASUU strike end once and for all...

honestly, tuition in federal universities is relatively affordable but there should be no increment at this trying times. I sincerely hope things will get better pretty soon

i paid an unrefundable acceptance fee into futo at 52k and their tuition fee only is about 106k which they gave us deadline to pay without us being able to aceept our admission and i couldnt afford it so deadline past and i lost my admission, mind u they've collected my 52k which also have some other digit to it too which is unrefundable.

Get ur fact olosho/ hookup is not for everyone who desires to satisfy their list,it's for those dat can afford ,it's not a basic necessity,( luxry) like
Education and health care.......
Ur commaprism is vague and empty lack of common empathy...
U just proved ur free education giving to u by Govt was a waste of effort
Thanks

The most annoying thing is that most of us that enjoyed almost free Tertiary Education still wake up to run down the country everyday.

The comments I have seen so far suggests a lot of people don't understand what tuition means. Tuition simply means the money students pay for being taught in schools. No Federal university in Nigeria charge tuition, which is clearly in the Nigerian constitution. What students pay in Federal institutions are sundry charges such as hostel, ID card, laboratory charges, ICT etc.

Nigerians pay Olosho/Hookup Babe 25 to 50k per night ( Not High Class Olsoho) and we want to pay 16k for a full year Tuition. University Education for that matter.

We should let this sink into our brains, Tertiary Education is not for all.

We say Nigeria has done nothing for us. Nonsense!
If they paid exorbitantly for it and still end up without a job to fall back to na who lose?
