Would you deliberately expose your children to know how to speak pidgin English?
For me I think within the Nigerian settings it’s not bad

Okay..
Majority of Persons born and bred in Nigeria till adulthood, will inadvertently know how to speak/understand pidgin English...
It's something that's beyond the control of parenting...
Reason for this is that, the country is very diverse lingually, so be on a common ground to communicate, you have to understand and speak pidgin...
And note, speaking pidgin English doesn't mean you are an illiterate...
So your kids will grow up understanding and even speaking..

There is something called Environmental Determinism, even if you don't teach them directly, as far as they are in Nigeria 🇳🇬 they will learn to speak it themselves because pdgin English is the basic language of communication for an average Nigerian undecided
