iMessage seems to have activated but messages aren't going though, weird. I've toggled iMessage on and off with no success, and 3 different e-mail accounts, I'm receiving with e-mails, FYI. Try to add me and send a message my way: ro8127@googlemail.com

I have a problem while trying to set up my facetime acct. There is a default number +447572, That keep appearing where my 9ja number should be. Worst thing is I can't modify or delete the number because the phone is not giving me the option. Does anybody know how i can rectify it?

You guys can keep enjoying your Imessage now, I would rather wait for the untethered jailbreak before upgrading no matter how long it will take which I know won't be for that long.

Tethered require you to connect your phone to a computer and run some program to allow the phone to boot if the phone goes off but untethered jailbreak is not like that.

Switch off both FaceTime and iMessage, reset all settings(not erase), wen it boots up, u might need to call me.

Dey don't av because I don't jailbreak at all. I restore preserving d bb alone and activate the locked fone with WHATEVER NETWORK IT'S LOCKED TO IN THIS WORLD

those having problem with activating imessage, make sure ur facetime is already activated if not it wont work

You are using a factory unlocked iPhone 4, so you don't need to be afraid. You can also downgrade, your SHSH is already saved to Cydia.

lol, this is always d issue wen a new iphone comes out, trust me, its a config setting. people will soon get used to the settings.

I dont av one but i know by the time many people start to use it, they will know what to turn off to save battery.

for example, the iphone4 i upgraded to ios5 was automatically sending diagnostics & usage data to apple via my internet.
So even on standby, i discovered dat my battery was running down at a very fast rate. So i checked what could be causing it, dat was how i saw dat issue. i disabled it and i d battery has improved. there are so many things to turn off dat will inprove d battery life.

I don't think the region is d problem. Ur fone is locked to Uk. Even if u choose Uk,us, nigeria, it shouldn't matter. Something is wrong with the setting or the sim. Use d sim to browse for sometime, continue using ur email to facetine and imessage, attimes d number will just pick.
