When he led the protest against Jonathan in 2012 January
He never knew a day of reckoning was coming

Now he is the President

Lesson: if you do things against your neighbor. Be lenient because a day will come, you will face same thing you were accusing your neighbor

Now Tinubus case is presently worse than Jonathan own that time because the economic situation is mind blowing

Just told this morning that dollars is past 900naira

Cost of goods and services will greatly increase

We are in serious economic situation

A government that increased price of PMS by over 300% is finding it difficult to increase salaries! It's just so insensitive to the people's plight. If you earn 100k in naija today, you are extremely poor, even if you Trek to work.

If you increase salary, you will automatically increase inflation and devalue the Naira further.

The solution is to sack most of those useless oil workers, replace them with efficient, skilled professionals and complete the rehabilitation of the local refineries, support the development of more modular refineries and finally link the oil field to the modular refinery.

We await with bated breath the outcome of the ongoing strike. Whether to outrightly cripple the economy by a embarking on a strike which is definitely going to be counterproductive or go back to the negotiation table with the FG to find a more fruitful and amicable settlement to the dispute.

You don't cut off your nose to spite your face.

This government is finding it hard to increase the salary of it's workforce which is below 10% of the population.. what then makes you think they will address the issues of the remaining 90% without excuses.. just a thought..

I beg to differ on this sir. Sacking oil workers will not make the life of an ordinary Nigerian any easier and you know it. Increasing the salary is the right thing. The moment petrol price increased, the cost of transportation increased; the pepper seller doubled her price; the children's school fees went up; the bricklayer increased his rate; cost of rice increased; photocopying increased... leaving the salaried employee powerless because he/she buys from the people who have power to increase the price of their goods while he/she couldn't increase his/earnings! It's very unfair and an upward review of salary is a must!
