Personally, as a being with intellect, I desire to question whatever seems hazy. Even in Christianity, we are required to avail ourselves to study. Except he wouldn't come up with anything intellectual, then I won't see him as such.

Brother, I used to think this way until Jesus encountered my life. It is possible to live a holy life, life without enjoying sin but it is only in Christ Jesus.

Jesus Christ told the woman, " neither do I condemn thee, go and sin no more".

The problem with some preachers and many Christian's is that they love judgment more than grace.

Jesus said to the woman -- neither do I condemn thee, preachers skip this and lean heavily on go and sin no more, putting heavy burden on people.

Your sin's have been forgiven. Past, present and future.

Lord Jesus did not condemn this woman , but gave her first the gift of no condemnation.

She was about to be stoned to death accordingly to the law,but Christ gave her freedom.

Lord Jesus not condemning her gave her the power to not sin again because she saw love and experience love.

Condemnation: People or someone condemning you or you condemning yourself sends you back to a cycle of sin.

You have been forgiven.

Jesus is Lord.

If I tell you not to fornicate for instance or drink or smoke or steal, am saying indirectly with regard drugs, the odds of you developing lungs cancer or heart complication is higher( ask doctors if you doubt me). With fornication or promiscuity loosing money and stressed out plus picking up diseases is higher, If I tell you not to steal am telling you the odds of you being shot dead or burnt alive is higher.
