She should just leave( husband will never forgive her) because there are certain things you shouldn't do as a wife, she indeed committed an abomination. But the mother-in-law sef is a problematic woman.

* My mother who has born grown up children more than u' call your mother and u also call her mother.
* My mother' who is also your mother slap you and you also slap her back.
* A good and responsible wife will only report to her husband'' and have the love of her husband' because your husband will not support his mother for slapping you'' but once you slap her back it is a murder case.
* You think you are smart or wise'' no wahala go to your beatiful house and leave your arrogant and useless lifestyle.
* No woman born by a woman that i house will ever and never has the guts to slap my mother' i don't think it is even possible.
* And those men who support their women for slapping their mothers'' is your mother that useless to you and nature?

Being patient could have solved this whole problem........

Your mother in-law is equally your mother too......And the earlier we all understand that marriage is a combination of both the good,the bad and the ugly;the better for everyone......
