There is no country in the world that doesn't borrow. I would be surprised if the Finance Minister made such categorical statement. I he did, then he is setting himself and the govt up for derision when the govt inevitably have to borrow. The richest countries, including tge USA, Japan, Germany etc all borrow. Infact, Japan, USA, Italy, France and the UK are the most indebted countries in the world. In itself, borrowing is not a sign of failure. Nigeria can't run without borrowing. The key is to reduce borrowing as much as possible. |

DiamondPant:Make your research very well, it was Buhari that Applied for $800m from the World Bank. The Lawmakers didn't let Buhari have access to the money because his tenure was about to End. |

Frezhkid10: since Nigeria hasnt supplied the crude oil that has been bought in the future, since Nigeria has collected money for products not yet delivered, is it indebted to its customer? who is the customer that ordered for crude oil that it doesnt need now but needs it in the future? 1 Like 1 Share |

But if at the end, this government achieve nothing with this subsidy remover, walahi me personal will swear for you guys, because befor now I fuel my car 12,500 x 4 =50,000 in one month, but now I use 46,300 x 4 = 185,200 in one month, thank God my office increased our salaries by 35% even with that I'm still struggling. 1 Like 1 Share |

Why do some persons get angry when APC is critized? There are enough evidences to affirm that APC has never been truthful with Nigerians & imposed more hardship than any other government in Nigeria's history. If somebody lies to me today, do you expect me to believe his brother tomorrow? Same brother who supported his initial lies? |

ManirBK: Honestly,I'm not a Party Card Carrier but I can tell you that President Tinubu and his Newly Appointed Ministers got what it takes to turn things around! β’ To The Ministers- What NIGERIANS Wants : 1β’ Accountabilities - of Money/ Funds given/ Budgeted - Revenues and Expenditures at the end of Every Year β’Note-Most of the MIDAS( Mon& dept)- under your Supervision- are so Corrupt e .g. Budgeting Furnitures every Year- is that not Criminals? 2β’ Transparency of your Works and Offices and what you are Presently doing and what you intended to do on quarterly basis to improve lives of NIGERIANS and the Youths. -For example- Digital Commutations Minister- Bosun has really impressed Nigerians- on what that Departments is doing and how he is going about it! 3.Tell Nigerians - How Many Youths / Employees you are creating Employments For? 4- You may need the Social Media - to inform the Masses on timely basis- for proper communication of your Office events- this is 21st Century! 4. Don't wait for end of- 4th year before Nigerians knows your Work you have been doing- Nigerians , especially the Youths ,are very Impatient and do Not Trust those on govt because of Past -Failures of the Politicians, who are very deceptive! God bless you all! |

slivertongue: You are a hypocrite, even if obi won he will still borrow. You know why? He won't have the ballz to go after the northern oligarchs and elites who have plundered the nation. And also obi will still borrow wether you like it or not. The economy is in a dire state, that need external spark to kick start it. So stop behaving like illiterate by always pointing finger in order to demonize. At least they have put certain measures in place to show transparency, though doubtful let's still give them a chance. |

And ruined the economy in the process. . Go out and see what economic activities have been reduced to in every part of country. It's pathetic and shameful. Sometimes, it looks like people have been evacuated to Mars or the moon. |
