Please I recently bought mtn 5g router, the SIM that comes with the router is not working, I can't register it, it showing emergency when inserted in the phone, so I want to ask:

If I buy and register fresh SIM card for the router, will I still be given the free 100GB data bonus ?

You have to register the sim, bearing yr name at d nearest mtn office.

No. It's only the sim card bundled with the device that has the 100GB offer. The offer is attached to the sim by the MTN marketing department.

I would advise you walk into an MTN Walk-in center for resolution.

Advice, go back to where you bought it from.

Are you sure that's the actual sim that came with the modern? Check the mtn sticker on the modern if it matches the sim serial #

Register the sim that comes with the router at MTN office. Make sure the serial & phone number on sim pack tally with the one at the back of the router. If not, Return the router to the seller
