Let's be sincere this guy herited a bad government. Things have been bad from the 8 years of buhari's government. It won't take 100 days In office to fixed it. Even Peter obi won't have done differently.

But president tinubu has not done enough. I believe he should have open the border for food. Nigeria cannot grow his own food. I read somewhere that because of the high order of rice by the federal and state governments, there is sarcity of rice that is why there is spike in the sales of rice. So Nigeria cannot grow his own food. So open the border of food. Let there be importation of food.
Another area I think tinubu is failing woefully, is the sharing of pallaitive. Why would tinubu in his mind be give states truck load of rice. And he known the type of corrupt country Nigeria is. Atleast president tinubu was around during the COVID-19 pandemic, when state governments where hoarding food stuff met for the distribution to the masses. And he is still making such mistake. The masses will not get this pallaitive. And they will be saying that he has not done anything. Why not great a card to be distributed to the masses. And with that card, the masses can money in some certain range. So that they can use that money to buy what they want to buy.
Then, president tinubu has not done well handling the issue of the minimum wage and what labour are asking for. He is too silent in this matter. By now, he should have done a press conference by himself. Make public what he want. Labour give me three or six months, I will increase the minimum wage. But nobody knows his plan. Even labour that is dealing directly with the federal government doesn't know his plans. Tinubu should be open and plain.

So I believe there won't have been much difference if another person is in power. What your take

The management of the country's finances after the subsidy removal was completely wrong.

Instead of fake palliatives, I would have created the following :

Disbursement of buses across the entire state to cushion the effects of inflation on cost of movements.

Disbursement of tractors across the entire country in such a way that each state would have atleast 1,000 - 3,000. Tractors

Immediate development of modular refineries across at least six states first to create jobs and to boost local production

Total removal of custom duties and tax returns on all food production machinery and companies to foster cheaper food production

Subsidized fertilizer costs so fertilizer prices gets crashed by atleast 50%

He doesn't have ideas. He's now confused. Though I believe of all three, Atiku is best equipped in transformational ideas. The country is in a deep mess as things stands

Unfortunately, Nigeria is in a shambolic state because we (especially our leaders) show contempt and disdain for inputs of our followers especially genuine and patriotic ones. In this regard, Tinubu has really bested the most of our past leaders.

However, I would have alleviate the suffering of the masses by subsidizing cost of staple foods and providing general food security plus commence a constitutional-rework to fast track a genuine fiscal and true federalism.... If I were president Tinubu.

He should have done alot of things easily to ease the tension.... Honestly I'm a fan of tge subsidy removal and he should have had a plan to counter it when he entered that office.

One thing i would have done is increase the minimum wage of the citizens imagine the likes of Kenya, South Africa, Egypt and co having a minimum wage of more than $200 while my beloved country is paying like $40 it's insane, its outrageous, and there's nothing i mean no plan you want to have for this Country that is good the minimum wage of the citizens must ne involved.

Cut off the salaries of those in that office by at least 40% especially those in the federal level be it ministers, ho reps, including the president etc and also state if possible. This would make everyone see that even those in office are feeling the heat (transparency) and would let them understand you are here to work, Nigeria is kuku one of the highest paid politicians, yet we have a country that's in shambles, all these institutes that are not working are in trouble the heat would be on them cause what's the points of you not working. Appoint hardworking people as their head and we'll see from there

Another thing that baffles me till today is the fact that Nigeria doesn't have a database. What tinubu did concerning the 5billion he shared to each state makes alot of sense. We have bvn, we have nin and co. yet we don't have a data base as a country so the government cannot meet the needs of their citizens directly how would there not be corruption if you are sharing palliatives from the top. You start from the bottom man. From those who needs it the most now we are talking. That's what he should have done at least. Find a way to set up a database for our people at least active accounts would be traced through bvn and send the funds directly to the citizens not allowing some people to steal it. Now look at the palliatives some states are sharing, it's soo annoying.

Atiku wouldn't have had the courage to sustain removal of subsidy the way Tinubu did. In due course you will appreciate PBAT means well for this great country

Each LG will have 2 to 3 NNPC Fuel station so that if oil marketers over hike as usual masses will be buying directing from NNPC in their Local government

Remove import duties on food items
Direct PHCN to always repair or change their transformer within 2 days when it spoil our own transformer have stayed 7 months since it spoiled, we're living in the heart of our states no be village
We use the same transformer with our LG and General hospital etc

Instead of increasing school fees I will reduce it
Abuja based politicians I will reduce their might salaries
I will give free medical care to retired civil servants for job well done
I will empower farmers with loans through CBN once you have a hecter of land with documents I will give you loan etc

You can’t talk about what you don’t know, if you want to make decisions base on what you hear in the news you will make the wrong decision. Ti ubuntu’s making decisions base on first class information available to to now not information generated on social media.

So what you should have done differently have nothing with what Tinubu is doing right now

TAG CEMENT PRICE AT N3000 PER BAG.

Many of you that are not politicians always think is easy to cut salaries of politicians, it is the day you become governor or president you will know that is not easy as it seams.

Imagine you are a new senator, your predessessor is earning 35million and they said you should take a pay cut of 10million ,will you agree
