→The word Bible is derived from the Greek word ‘Biblio’, which mean book. The Latin word is Biblia, while the English word is ‘Bible’. Bible means Book, but not just a book but a holy book and that explains the use of ‘Holy Bible’.

→The Bible is God speaking and the word of God is living

→The essence of studying the Bible is to know God and His will in order to live according to His purpose.

→It was written by men, however the Holy-Spirit breathed upon these Human vessels.

→The Bible contains sixty-six books with no single contradiction, priceless and incomparable.

→It has scientific accuracy even though it was written in a non-scientific age and finds answers to the questions of life and death.

→The writers of the Bible include kings, priest, physician, fisherman, shepherd, statesmen, soldier, butler, learned, unlearned, tax collector, musician. However, reading it appears the Bible is written by only one author, because it was the Holy Spirit that breathed upon them. The writers are 40 in number.

It's good to know how the Bible came to you but to understand God's word you need two or three individuals before the spirit guiding faithful people will come and help you! Matthew 18:20 compare to Malachi 3:16

So it's wrong to study the Bible alone without a company of two or three of course you can read alone to enjoy the stories but to get the understanding you must be in the midst of faithful researchers.

Thanks! smiley
