But the Igbo man took that place and developed to a high level with no government help

I laugh when people say Ignos dont develop their place.

Come and show me that place you developed in your Region that did not have to be a capital city

Onitsha is the city of billionaires & many multi millionaires. (In Naira...ooo)

There's a reason America has high-risers all over their cities.

Instead of one person to use their money to start a business and do everything himself, they partner with people who do similar businesses, pool resources together and build awesome infrastructure to attract venture capitalists, angel Investors, etc. They contribute their ideas to the growth of their businesses.

In the end, they create hundreds of jobs, have branches in their country and outside their country, and even export their business ideas to the world and have people pay to acquire that knowledge.

This is why those people have introduced business terms like partnership, corporation, conglomerate, limited liability, etc. Language is an element of culture, so a language doesn't understand terms that are alien to its culture.

Unfortunately, our people haven't fully embraced it yet. We prefer to own 100% of a small business worth N10 million (this means you own 10 million) than own 2% of a business worth N1 billion (that means you own N200 million).

Ndigbo, and Nigerians as a whole, need to reconsider their business strategies. This is probably when we will start building infrastructure that will be as sophisticated as those in the US, UAE, Hong Kong and other parts of the world
