You just pointed out one of the major issues that this nonsense breeds. When sickness hits, most children raised the African way are unable to properly care for their sick parents because of this shame nonsense attached to their unclothedness. The mental torture of having to see their parent naked alone causes many to abandon their sick loved ones in their filth all because they were raised to believe they are not to discover the unclothedness of their parents. All that na bullsheet abeg!

Try to stay on topic. OP asked if parents can disrobe in the presence of their kids, not if we are going to go back to living as nudists in Africa. No one here is saying let's go naked all the time in public, neither have I suggested it as a way forward.

The picture is to show that nudity was part and parcel of our ancestry and still is even in this day and age. There are parents who disrobe in front of their kids regularly in that same Nigeria and these kids are not half as hypersexualized as your kids who see their parents clothed almost 24/7. The picture shows that children who are around parents who disrobe do not grow up with as many body image issues as children who are around adults who are clothed almost 24/7.
