There's wisdom here

Because women are unpredictable now

One guy i knew back then came home and married a young babe we were all in university together

The guy na American citizen
He kept the Babe here she born 4 children for Him

When the kids were in there teens he relocated them with there Mum to the US

He wanted to be sure
Although the girl na very responsible person
Was in school fellowship then in the university

Another guy married university babe kept her here
She born 4 for Him
The guy holds German passport

Later opened a very big school for her in lekki
She still runs the school
Well taken care of
Latest automobiles
There own mansion

But till today she never visit am for Germany
He shuttles btw Nigeria and Germany like 4 times in the year

I never said they will not allow you pass oga, read to understand. They allowed me and my family to pass too. It is what the guy told that I am telling u. At Heathrow precisely. Dude straight up asked, is this your husband? On answering in the affirmative, said pomp and plain and clear as day," you are the authority now not him. Back in your country, he is the authority but here, you are the authority."
Take am easy o.
You were caught in your lies and you have shifted that to one dude.

I am done talking to you people on this forum. Una no dey hear advice, then when it happens to you, you will rush to open thread on nairaland. It is good. We will keep reading your stories. I should come and lie on a faceless forum... Your kind of person learns from experience but I believe those that will learn a thing or 2 from the thread have done so already.

Another crap!

She should rather advise the brother to marry a woman in the Country where he resides, make person hear word!

If the brother is a prize, make the women in that country rush am!

I told one here in the UK, you already have the skilled worker visa that is a sure pathway to British citizenship, then he should be open to marrying a lady already here in the UK with her own papers, so none would accuse each other of being in the relationship because of papers.

Same Uncle, who when he was a Masters student was always yabbing that marrying a Nigerian woman and bringing her over to the UK is suicide mission, is now developing cold feet getting into a serious relationship and marrying one from the millions of women from different parts of the world living in the UK.....there is always an excuse! Marry a Nigerian lady based here in the UK....NO, because they are too liberated and there would be "power struggle" in the marriage! Marry an Asian lady, he came up with excuses. Marry a lady from the Caribbean, he said those ones are streets. Oya, marry a Caucasian British whey go gree for you....brother man went mute! cheesy cheesy cheesy

His WhatsApp status, regularly have pictures of a particular Nigerian lady who I guess is based in Delta State based on the taxis I have seen in the background, he is already talking about getting an apartment that is bigger....I still dey observe. cheesy cheesy cheesy

So in essence, you prefer to be left behind by your spouse if he relocates abroad so you don't get to kick him out, divorce him and take over his "porperties". Good to know

He has developed cold feet because he has gotten wiser, and known that getting married even to those women there, including you, is most likely going to be an unwise decision since your minds have been programmed by the devil to put a wedge in marriage and cash out to the detriment of the husband. Can't blame him.

The way people with low self esteem throw submission around like it's a trophy.
Marriage is no longer partnership but slave and master.
If you have low self esteem, you will value submission from everybody around you including your parents.

The word is not even supposed to come out of anybody's mouth in this era.
Unless we are in another episode of slave trade which we don't know about.

I live with my wife in the UK, so does more than 10 friends of mine. Know who you dey marry first.
l know not every woman is bad but and I know of a medical doctor who thought things were cool between him and his wife till he got sick of cancer, and during a protracted battle with cancer, the wife left him, saying when he became sick, he became financially abusive and emotionally abusive. Let that sink in

Including me? shocked shocked shocked

So marrying a Nigeria based lady and bringing her over to the UK, is a wiser decision as against marrying a woman in the UK?

So what is point exactly? In life the are constant thing is change, either positive or negative. Th best you can do is your due diligence and the rest is left to God. Can we see the future? No. If you check well with your example, the guy must have ignored alot of signs.
