They didn't directly speak against the Holy Spirit, instead they saw the works of the Holy Spirit and claimed Jesus did them by an evil spirit "Beelzebub".

It was the denial of the works of the Holy Spirit that Jesus termed blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. That denial of the works of the one (Holy Spirit) that forgives sins is same as unbelief. Unbelief is the absence of faith.

Jesus said it's only those who do the will of the Father that will enter the kingdom of heaven. Now, what is the will of the father?

This is yet another portion of the bible that confirm that the only thing required to enter heaven is believing in him.

You can also say that it's the only thing that excludes people from heaven when they don't do so.

You should take note that Jesus never spoke in direct terms to these people that don't believe him. He used parables except with his disciples. So you shouldn't be taking his statements literally.

It's rare to sin against the Holy Spirit because to do so the sinner must render his or her God's given conscience dead.
This is what sinning against God's Holy Spirit means:
You can't see God face to face but you can see His active force in action so when the first century Jewish disciples of Christ got baptized with God's Holy Spirit people in Jerusalem saw them and felt they're drunkards those saying this are sinning against humans because what the disciples were doing that day is not natural therefore anyone that speaks abusively about them did so not against the spirit of God.

in the context of that scripture, to blaspheme means to reject the holy spirit.
You can't talk bad about the holy spirit unless you are not a believer of the holy spirit.

He was Jesus Christ himself.
