Nairaland,I never knew wearing of hat or any covering in the church as a man is a disrespect to God.




I came late to church today, and stand outside.when It was time for offering,I enter inside with my cultural cap to offer my offering to God only to hear an underground whisper from someone criticising my cultural covering in church.



I had taught it is only inappropriate only during prayer. But what I just googled showed that it is a sign of disrespect to God.


I did not only came to church late today but also disrespect God ontop



I pray God have mercy on me. Amen

I wore a baseball cap to church, came earlier, at the entrance of the church I bow and removed it, placed it on my knee as the church commence, during worship I place it on the chair, and after church as I walked outside I wore it to prevent sun from damaging my face.
