In Lagos you can only get 1 big tuber of yam for that 2500 or one medium size and a very small one put together for that amount with abeg.

I don't eat yam like that so I only had it once last year. This year I'm not sure if I'll even eat it. Don't even remember it exists.
lols. Sad

16 yams for #2500 is impossible to believe in this Tinubu economy. OP you need to show me proof before I can believe that that cheap price is possible.

If not for insecurity, Nigerians have no reasons to experience inflation in the price of food stuff.

20 fresh tubbers. I already gave out some to my neighbors as it's precious gift in this part of the country.

I would have said na lie but as you mention Benue, I free matter. Zaki biam should be the biggest Yam market in the whole world if I'm not wrong.
I always look forward to my Good Tiv friend travelling home and bringing back foodstuffs.
Too bad, Nigerians in other parts can't enjoy this.
They don't call Benue "Food basket of the Nation" for nothing.

I wish we had trains all across the nation both for passengers and cargo. Life would have been so much easier by now. Direct access to the markets is the major problem for farmers.

Self-induced greed and chaos in the agribusiness distribution chain.

NOt really middle men.Between Benue state and cross river alone you have over 79 checkpoints before you arrive Calabar with each of the checkpoints taking at least 1k coupled with the high cost of diesel.l sell yams so I know
The level of inefficiencies in the food distribution chain back in Nigeria is sickening.
