Where will corrupt northern leaders get their loot from if nigeria is restructured? This current chaotic arrangement is benefiting mostly few northern cabals and some southern corrupt politicians they will never allow it.

I don't understand most of you again, were we not practicing govt of regions before ironsi stopped it and replaced it with this system we are practicing now? Why didn't the military take over then?

Who said Ironsi stopped it? It was Gowon that abolished the 4 Region's Nigeria had and replaced them with 12 states. Those who came after Gowon increased it to 36 states

Military will not take over as International peace Keep will be invited to over see the process.

After the Restructuring United Nations Peace Keeping Troup will be invited to establish peace for some years.

During that time everybody will get used to it.

South Sudan, Eritrea, went as far as breaking up and heaven did not fall.
