Security is tied to economic well being. Any president that does not know this has no business leading the country.
There are too many jobless young and able bodied people roaming the streets of Nigeria which is a recipe for disaster in the first place.
Arming an impoverish security personnel will not cut it as the will to do the extra required to combat insecurity is not there. We must get our economy working enough to support the population and in so doing we will be able to combat insecurity to a reasonable level.

BODE GEORGE you are noted, but you must relocate from Nigeria as you promise. TINUBU is now president federal republic of Nigeria
Supported, Bode George should be a man of his words and relocate, but has your principal being a man of his words on his promises?

Or was there even a promise?

He ran from all the debates he was called on prior to the election. And in some events he had he supposed was given an audience to speak of his what would be his goals and solutions to the prevalent problem, all he could say was agbado and corn, recruitment into army and inconsistent, incoherent, and meaningless words that do truly tell of what he is which is evident with the current state of the country, a failure.

He had no intention to better the challenges we had, he only made it worse.

His concerns? His aims? Perhaps you know better since he's your principal.

Things has only become worse than he met it and to think it started on the day he assumed office with a careless statement of his tells a lot. But , you and your ilk will always stand in his defence.

Guy you must be funny. Your moniker sounds like someone from middle belt or northern Nigeria and it seems you are not worried about the security situation in the country especially in the north?
There should be a limit to political trolling. From my observation, there are a lot of foreigners disguising as Nigerians just to be posting annoying comments online.
Most of these comments is liken to the conversion kids usually have in kindergarten schools eg 'my daddy car is better than your daddy car' and the like.
Another group are those based outside the country especially those who Japa with money gotten from supporting bad leaders. No conscience and morality. I fear who no fear those supporting their oppressors.

I doubt if he's really Fulani. A lot of impersonation online just to cause brothers to fight unnecessary.
If you observe the guy, he also deliberately try to annoy people and sound very shallow.
How can we all call ourselves one Nigerian and be attacking ourselves aimlessly?
While the politicians are enjoying themselves, their children marrying each other.
Why can't we enjoy the country? Must people Japa to experience normal living conditions?

Him travelling out or the president solving the security challenges, which is more important?
A truely patriotic Nigerian will demand for good governance.
Is it not f@@lishness that brothers and sisters will be fighting themselves trying to look good in the eyes of politicians?
Is a pity the British left very early, they could have stayed a little so that development and education could have reach everyone.

It is very very annoying when governors of state will be waiting for the presidency to come and tackle the insecurities in their respective states for them.

They are quick to use the political word - "I am the Chief Security of my State". They should exercise the power on the non actors disturbing the peace and harmony of their state.

They should inert it to their respective state laws. Any person caught with this crime - kidnapping, terrorism, banditry and other vices of crimes should be prosecuted and killed if found guilty by the laws.

It seems they are afraid to do that...
.who would handle the arrest and prosecution. You don't know that. It's only police is allowed to carry guns and prosecute criminals. Tinubu has been clamouring for state policing, let him take action now lm

You can as well banish him from his country if hes taking him longer to relocate.

Is a pity the British left very early, they could have stayed a little so that development and education could have reach everyone.

The British looted the economy and built no schools apart from a tiny handful of dodgy ‘missionary schools’ by English priests that taught general garbage.

You are only educated because Nigerians came to power and built thousands of public schools and universities.

If the British were still in charge, you’d be an illiterate, because literacy rate was under 5% at independence after nearly a century of British dominance and export of our resources. The literacy rate is around 75% today, thanks to black rule.

One thing you mentally colonised people need to understand is that colonialism is a system of rule in which the invader rules a country with the intent of exploiting and looting its resources to benefit his home country.

Colonialism is not something that was or is designed to develop YOUR country.

It’s a system designed to ROB your country.

The reason the west are so rich and developed is because they robbed your land and other lands across the world, and massacred millions of people in the process.

So seeing them as this benign set of people who “should have remained here longer” is really the height of ignorance and stupidity.

The importance of going thru Secondary school education can never be undermined. Which secondary school the man you are asking to tackle insecurity attended before going to Chicago?
This issue of someone going to Secondary school or has been annoyingly over flogged.

Many people in history NEVER went to Secondary school before going on to the Uni. Some where home schooled and others like the late former Governor of Anambra State, Chief Ezeife granted an interview to Punch years back in the 2010s where he clearly stated that he NEVER went to a Secondary school. He said he only took tutorials and did his A-level exams which he used to gain admission into a Uni.

I remember clearly because it was in that same interview that he stated that one of his daughters was married to a Yoruba man, and that his big break financially as a millionaire came from his export of especially soy beans from Nigeria.

True that.

You're the only one who has made a lot of sense here on this thread so far. Enough of the relentless calling out of the President of Nigeria for every case of localized insecurity. It's really annoying reading misleading posts by trolls or ill-informed people here.

What Tinubu and his team of legislatures have to do right now is simply to further decentralize governance, so that severe capital punishments can be inflicted on these criminal elements.

State Govenors in the U.S. don't call on President Joe Biden to come and solved every vicious localized crimes for them. They only collaborate in sharing critical info with Federal security agencies.

The states can then deploy surveillance and attack drones, advance satellite tracking systems, and forensic science for preventing crimes and solving already existing crimes. All security worldwide in localized. Period.
