By the time he was finished Anambra went from a low revenue, indebted state, to a lender of money with the leanest most logical and effective budget in Nigeria.

All while cutting no comfort for Anambra people. Nobody can say something they enjoyed was taken away by Obi unless it was something the person was using to embezzle money or defraud others.

The person we would ordinarily need at the moment is somebody who is exceptionally smart about spending. Tinubu has his strengths but his strength depend on borrowing and heavy spending. He's a 'macro' manager, not a 'micro' one.

I don't know how old you are but remember Obasanjo withholding security funds from Lagos state out of spite and despite that, President Tinubu was still able to run the state well without any financial hindrance.

He had put down a system where the state could still pay his workers etc despite budgeted funds not coming through.
