BabaRamota1980: STEWpid: optionalY09: Roger3D: rexlims: So you all left your President Vice president Senate president Senators House of reps ( 36 states and FCT) Governors Local government chairmen State house of assembly members Councilors Ministers And so on With constitutional duties to you as a citizen and start attacking Pastors with no constitutional duty to you, no wonder the country is the way it is, misplaced priority... Now imagine your types in large number with your type of mentality choosing leaders to govern you, that's why people like Buhari could do second term and Tinubu can be presidents of Nigeria and your types keep supporting without holding them accountable. It is Pastors that did not swear any oath to you or Nigeria that you want to hold responsible for the welfare of Nigeria and Nigerians, those who swore oath to you and Nigeria are busy plundering the country and you keep supporting them. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Fighttillvictory: Sincerely I don't see anything blasphemous in what he said. What he said is very similar with the common practice among the early church of the Apostles era. Why will a church stock up treasures when people around them are in need? Do we call that a church or business enterprises? 3 Likes |

Oga,go and hold your your president, state government,senators...accountable..and leave churches alone if you have nothing reasonable to tell them, did they tell you they've not been feeding the needy?.. All the humanitarian activities they've been engaging in even building roads something your government is meant to take as a responsibility you'll turn a blind eye to those ones..better demand more from the government you voted for... 1 Like |

NairalandForumo: Chai.. Dear NairalandForumo, Common sense is not common - that is why even as far as the height of knowledge that a Professor would have attained, yet, we still have those who believe in slaughtering so-called pagans to enjoy paradise with 77 tiny poosies. How dare you subtract the religious aspect of Nigerian society? Have you forgotten that, it is actually poor people that drives Nigeria's religious catastrophes? The religious institution is a recognized and a very organized body that is supported by the government. In fact, it is expected that our religious bodies should help intercede in breaking spiritual barriers of the nation so the people can enjoy for ever regular progress. Religious institution is a non-profit organization and it shouldn't amass such wealth at the detriment of a dieing citizenry. Eyin Mekunu; BabaRamota1980, optionalY09, Roger3D, rexlims 1 Like |

NairalandForumo:Don't mind the useless political urchin They'll carry politicians on their heads and be insulting pastors. Between politician and pastor, who is the bigger thief? Check now you'll see he's one of those who supported a man who looted the richest state for 24 years to take charge of the country |
Re: Churches: Open Tithe Reserve In Bank, Feed Population by STEWpid(f): 12:12am On Feb 20 |
NairalandForumo: Chai.. Hope you're aware that; A recognized religious organization is registered under the Company and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) 2020, with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), as a non-profit organization to fulfil charitable purposes and objectives and promote the study and advancement of religion? The fact that established the root for religion began in the extant Nigeria's 1999 constitution as amended under Chapter (4), Section (28), subsection (1), which gives right to freedom of thought, conscience, and religion. It states that "Every person is entitled to freedom of thought, conscience and religion, including freedom to change his/her religion or belief, and freedom to manifest and propagate his religion or belief in worship, teaching, practice and observance". Hence, pastors or the so-called religious ministers are saddled with the responsibilities of studying and promoting the advancement of religion, not to milk the people that are dieing in penury. Received donations are meant for charitable purposes and for religious propagation!! With such level of gain, which in the right sense does not belong to anyone, should reduce the nation's burden and promote religious growth and development. A setting where churches could receive donation of billions to buy private jets should support the country. Eyin Mekunu; BabaRamota1980, optionalY09, Roger3D, rexlims |

Go and meet your own pastor that you gave money and make your complaint to, did you give other pastors money? |

Roger3D: And you cannot do the same for those who swore oath of allegiance to you and Nigerians to take care of you, people who forcefully collect multiple taxes from you and steal, sell your land resources and steal and still do not do what they swore on oath to do for you... Misplaced priority, part of the reason the country is the way it is, leave the main problem and be chasing shadows, like pastors were elected to offer you any service constitutionally.... |
