NAPS passes vote of confidence in Ede Poly Rector, Man Yahaya Sani

The leadership of National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) has passed vote of confidence in the Rector, Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Osun State, Engr. Dr. Man Yahaya Sani, based on his outstanding leadership qualities and exceptional administrative acumen.

The association, in a letter signed by its Senate President, Comrade Adeniyi Boluwatife Temitope, described the Rector as a father to the association since his days as Director at the Federal Polytechnic, Bida, Niger State and a man of peace and orderliness, adding that he possesses a rare calmness and capacity to listen to every party.

This was contained in a release signed by the Protocol, Media and Public Relations Officer of the institution, Sola Lawal, the copy which was made available to newsmen in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, on Friday.

The association added that Dr. Man Yahaya Sani operates a very robust conflict resolution mechanism that expressly resolves issues amicably between the management and the students' union body at the Polytechnic, making the Federal Polytechnic, Ede, one of the most peaceful higher institutions of learning in the country.

NAPS' leadership also commended the Rector for his determination and will to prioritise the welfare of students and entire Polytechnic Community, urging him not to rest on his oars.

The Rector, in his reaction thanked the association on the honour bestowed on him, he however, described the vote of confidence as a product of collective performance of members of Staff and management alike.

He, therefore, charged the entire Polytechnic Community to redouble their efforts in order to sustain the current standard.
