Family of US-based Nigerian bodybuilder, Michael Chidozie, who was shot dead by wife are set take his remains back home.

Michael, 26 was shot dead by his wife, Keaiirra Shavoiyae Chidozie, 30,  in the middle of an argument in front of their children in their home in Houston on March 21.

She had claimed to have shot Chidozie in self-defense as she feared for her life during the argument when he followed her into their bedroom.

Police later found Keaiirra with the children in a nearby parking lot after witnesses called police to say she was frantically running around asking for help.

While still struggling to cope with their loss, Chidozie's family and friends have shifted their efforts to bringing his body home to Nigeria, which comes with a hefty price tag of $70,000.

One family member said : Though the family is "devastated," bringing his body home will bring some sort of closure as it was his dream to one day return to his homeland.

They should bury him there, here is not cemetary.

Kindly keep him in the USA and use the 70k USD for the kids while the woman spends the rest of her life in prison.

She hasn’t even been charged with murder so life in prison is highly unlikely. Maybe he was the crazy individual and she was protecting herself and her children.

Sir, you have a golden memory because I’d forgotten all about that but you’re absolutely right. Chris Benoit was his name, right? Went into a rage because of steroids and killed everyone, including himself. Chris did that on his final rage so can you imagine how bad the routine rages get? This wife is lucky she the kids escaped alive.
