Hello House, need an urgent response on the issue explained below.

I have a girl that I planned to marry but genotype test result blurred the dream of being together. What I'm saying is that recently after the agreement of two couple to be , they went for their genotype test, and the result shows that both of them are AS which means that if they insist, their is tendency of producing a sickle seller which they are avoiding and the love is now so deep that they don't know how to quit the relatioship. Now the question is what should the guy do?
And to the girl, what should she do?

my friend, i undastand how u both feel, i mean to be in the process of loosing ur love but to be candid and sincere with u, since this issue of genotype is not what u can cure except by divine intervention, i will rather advise u to let go and face d little pain now than hold on and the great pain of bearing a sickle celled children. know for sure that a broken relationship is far better than a broken marriage. just think about it together, analyse the goods and bads of the journey u are about to embark on and think if u really can bear the pain. please, always carry the lady along in ur decision. Think very well before u act. It is well with u both. cheers

for me my advice is that if there faith carrys it (to get married) believing God that it will work out for there good.Then i suggest they shld go ahead and marry but if there faith is in doubt.They should just be frds, God still has a better plan for them.I have a frd that was in such predicament, they both agree to go there seperate way as frds by these november he'll be getting married.It's all about there Faith 4me.

Pleeeeease don't even go there. This has nothing to do with faith and everything to do with common sense.
If they want to test their faith, let them use it to change at least one of their genotypes to AA.
Then and only then can they contemplate marriage.
I can understand if they're the only ones going to suffer the consequences of any stupid
decision, but bringing a child into a life of misery and agonizing pain just doesn't sit well with me.
