Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by Davidbanky(m): 3:16pm On Jan 26, 2012

Injuries are no alibis in the game of tennis(it's not by force); you can simply back out if you are injured. Its not by force. He had better play this final well since he has decided to rest all through Feb

Fed's done with the slams. His defensive game is quite frankly shambolic and I can't see all three ahead of him injured at the same time. Anyway his weapons can't hurt them as the trio are great on the back foot and uncanny retrievers.

Liverpool FC and Rafael Nadal shares a little something in common . . . They are both in the finals!

And how can you guys discount Murray completely, I always thought he has what it takes to win GS. I hope am not wrong but this may be his year. Fingers and toes crossed,

^^^Imagine o.
Like say Murray is not even a contender in this game.
What if Murray beats Novak tomorrow. Anything can happen.
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by Santino1(m): 7:31pm On Jan 26, 2012
@Davidbanky, I really don't understand your head to head statistics, as at 2005, Fed was leading Nadal on head to head, but we both know how it is now,

At the level Novak is playing presently, only one person has the tactics to beat him and that's Fed,

Let's be realistic, how we can know how much Andy improved ,whilst he hasn't had any real test on this tournament. He did not play against any real top 10 guy, in fact easy draw. Now,he is going to face the best one. In other hand ,Ivan Lendl(his coach) is so short period with Andy that is impossible to make such big changes in his game. I think,Andy is losing this match but he will play very tough. If Lendl is right coach for him,the best results will come in the midlle of year around Wimbledon.

I am afraid what i am watching is a 3 straight wash
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by femzy(m): 10:54am On Jan 27, 2012
Murray is just a hype period! he belongs to the class of Tsonga but the British media wants him to win a grand slam by any means. That will probably happen 5yrs from Now! Ooops he will be too old to actually win anything. Sorry to his fans but watch painfully as Murray is demolished in strait sets.
