Can someone tell me why?
Life's so confusing even when we try
What's the thing with love?
Falling into the same pit we are warned of

I wish we never have to mary
'Cos the road to get a wife is full of worry
And when you leave God out being in a hurry
You reap the Adversary's fury
.
I know in my heart of hearts
I would love to be in love again
Yes, cowering is in no way among my arts
But I guess I'm scared
As I might be left with pain to bargain
Outliving this fear, I haven't dared
.
A woman of my own
Will be my greatest joy
To sever me from lone
Who won't play with my life as a toy
But one who would love me & I'll love in return
Oh! how I hate to be loved by someone
who I can't in return:
I had my share of being forlorn
.
I confess my faults
And hope I've paid enough for the hurts
'Cos my life at a glance
Tells how good I hurt people
God give me a new chance
And let at true love, I stumble
.
Seeking the Kingdom first
Shouldn't imply love is lost
But even faith gets complicated
Meeting whom I am fated
Is my silent prayer
I trust God for an answer
