John 3:8
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

It means the life of a spiritual man is mystery, you can can't cage him you can't predict him.

John3:8 says"The wind blows wherever it please.you can hear its sound,but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going.so it is with everyone born of the Spirit"
in the above verse "the wind" typifies the Holy Spirit"in the life of a believer andHe's incharge of that life,the believer can "hear" His  "sound"or voice,but he's unable to predict or dictate when the Holy Spirit will speak or gives him directives,"but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going"he have to wait upon Him for direction in every expect of his life.
