Just waking up in the morning or while in the office and you browse through as much dailies as you want including Nairaland where you get what you missed in the dailies with your phone, tablet, PC etc. When last did you buy a newspaper?
I can't remember, maybe two or three years back.

I read the papers everyday but the last time I bought was sometime in 2009 or 2010.

I used to be a Sunday-Sunday paper buyer but nowadays,I buy newspapers twice a week.

Once in a while i do still buy newspapers, esp if i'm about to embark on a long journey. In such cases reading the online version from one's handset can be tiring.

I stoped buying newspaper since 2008.I read most of the papers online.including Nairaland that gives you whatever news u needed.

When I was job hunting then. Bought paper last 2009. The Guardian only. Ironically I got my job online not through The Guardian. That era don pass tay tay. Online strictly. The best online newspaper is Vanguard. You can flip through like d hard copy if u have a flash on your system. No be lie.

When in naija, I try to buy every day. I dunno, the physical papers have stories that the online versions don't carry.

2010 -Christian Outlook Newspaper

At first i started buying newspapers not because i wanted to read the news but because i wanted people to notice that i was reading newspapers which was a sign of adolescence or maturity. But later i really got interested in the main reason a newspaper was meant for which is to give news. The last time i actually bought a newspaper was two years ago. This is because of the rate at which the Nigerian internet space has grown and almost all the newspapers are now available online.

Still buys Saturday punch, Sunday Thisday regularly. The fact is that if you are a 'news addict' like me, some times you would like to read what some particular colunmits' opinion are about some National issues

It's been long I actually bought a newspaper for myself due to the fact that I get the news online. But the hard copy ones contain a lot more than the internet version e.g Thisday. It's old men that buy much often...

I read de papers online and get de hard copies in de office. But de Online is more beta becos it is easily accessible..

cant even remember when last i read/bought the news paper, internet has made life easier for me.

The buying is my old man's and i read 'em whenever he buys them which is like twice a week.

2 or 3 yrs ago, whenever i use to travel. Its our fathers who still patronise them well. When their generation eventually passes, one wonders what will happen to the dailies ?

17th March, 2012. Just sent for today's (18th March, 2012) papers. That is one of the risks involved in being a P. A.

You have to read even when you are supposed to be "OFF" and relay everything of interest to your Principal. Actually, I can't do without buying the papers (The Nation, Guardian, Punch, Vanguard and This Day) and periodicals (Tell, Newswatch and The Source), 'cos if I don't I get queried and made to pay their double costs. We also do make a collection of these papers so as to have an information base on which to write articles and quell arguments (funny . Right?) Not so funny after you see the looks on people's faces when you back up your arguments with paper publications. Lest I forget, I love the articles and Opinions, they are so incisive, educative and eye opening, and can't do without Sunday Punch because of the "Automedics" section, being an Auto Enthusiast. The Glitterati pull out in Thisday's sunday editions is something the wifey looks forward to.

See why I just can't stop buying hard copies even if I have read most of the news one way or the other.

I bought sunday Guardian religiously for 3yrs..loved Abati,Olumense and The girl whisperer's columns..I stopped buying it the moment Abati became Gej's stooge.I just couldn't reconcile d Rueben that I loved to the same one who took up that post..Obviously,he had an agenda with all the articles he was writing.Newspaper has lost its appeal for me nw.
