Yes, I have benefited indirectly and will not deny it like all of us have representatives in one area of this foul government all over Nigeria. Haven't we all? Including yourself? But it does not stop us from seeing what the reality of the "fight against corruption" is all about.

Thanks for your honesty, you just confirmed my doubts.
You can hold that as your view but trying to misinform southerners that Ribadu is Anti-South South is simply cheap.

Thank you too. We shall see in the end where all these will lead to. Hopefully in our life time!

If my state governor out of fear of being "selectively" mistreated by EFCC provides good roads, schools etc from the point of view of my state I will care less if any other governor in Nigeria is not being watched.

This is absolutely rubbish. This is a nation we are talking about, not a market place

Is this how to effectively and efficiently move a nation forward (leaders producing only because of the fear of being selectively picked up by EFCC)?
And who is watching the EFCC?
Absolutely poppycock, Mckren!
This is not how to operate; we need leaders who are fearless or have nothing to be fear of.

Instead of unrealistic short cut strategies or settling for absolutely unwanted rubbish, we need to polish up our mentality and raise up our expectation.
Leadership or leading in general is not by force or by choice.

All the giberish you type about this EFCC and Anti-Corruption issue right from when I came to Nairaland, the only connection I find in them all is your wish to have a Nigeria where their are no checks and balances. Free for all access to everybody for looting of public treasury.

You know what??, IBB has tried it in the past and the idea failed. God knows why you can't learn from the mistakes of your mentor.

perhaps i'm miscalculating here. which is easier?

1. serve the people, get your deserved pay, go home and live happily, or

2. steal, struggle with the legal system, resort to arson to cover tracks, get caught, and lose everything in the end.

these people did not pledge to nigeria when they were sworn into office. i don't give a monkey's arse if they are selectively targeted or not.

@Mckren
You should address the gibberish you've just posted.

If my state governor out of fear of being "selectively" mistreated by EFCC provides good roads, schools etc from the point of view of my state I will care less if any other governor in Nigeria is not being watched

Stop this running around game and leave IBB's balls alone for a change.

One could also map out from your gibberish ever since you came to Nairaland, that you know nothing about real solutions.
You only worship short cuts, the samething that has continuously produced big Zero at the end of the day.

FYI: EFCC still represents a total blessing for these governors. This is what they want, they clearly know that they remain free as long as defective EFCC continues to exist in Nigeria.
There are too many holes, too many obstacles created by EFCC, for any one to be effectively prosecuted for corruption in Nigeria.
I guess, you will realize this fact in 50 years!

Selectivity judgement is illegal and absolutely unacceptable under every circumstance. The Bible and Qurʾan are also totally against it.
Selectivity judgement will only create more unwanted obstacles and disunify the nation.
