Okay lemme try . .depending on pronunciation . .Edisua and Asandia can have more than one meaning . . .The Blue coloured part are my implied meaning of those names Edisua = Meaning A ====> sarcastically telling your enemies/adversary "to Come and hate" . .Most probably when your blessed against their wish Meaning B ====> "It is that year" Asandia = not familiar with this . .but lemme guess by dissecting it . . .Asa = might denote a container, basket or tray . . .and Ndia = Party and jollyment, plenty food Asa could also be a shortened form of Asari (Select/seperation from a lot) . . . so Asandia might mean any of these two =====> Meaning A ====> Container/basket/vessel of merriment/jollyment . . . Meaing B====> Most likely a nickname for Asari who loves party or merryment . . .So it literally means Asari wey too like merriment, choppings or Owambe Pronunciation matters with deriving meaning to certain words . .that was why i was having connotations to the meaning of those name 1 Like |

Asandia means abundance of blessings / every good thing there is in life - wealth, health, food etc. There's no literal meaning in most Efik names and it isn't a short form of Asa or Asari. Asa, Asari and Asandia are three very distinct and different names. |
