I don't think so; lots of technical guys have already been transferred to Ghana: they'll have to complement them with new guys from Ghana. I guess that's why they have been recruiting massively in Nigeria for a couple of months now: to cover the vacant posts left by the guys redeployed to Ghana..

I have taught at leading ICT academies and I'd love to get into glo please how can I get myself shortlisted for an entry level interview ? Save a life here. Thanks.

the ones transfered to ghana then were rollout guys, not technical guys. Infact, most of the rollout guys have been redeployed back to naija because their job is done now. What d coy urgently need now are technical guys(site maintenance guys) to maintain d sites. Inside info guy

You know I am interested n the technical position but seeing quite a number of positions would be available for grabs and considering that I'll be spending alotta dough to travel down to Lagos with the risk involved too, I was hoping I could get enough info before stepping out. u don need to travel down. get a relation/friend staying in lag. email d cv to him/her and d he/she goes there to drop it for u. at d gate the security guys will collect it. let him/her tell them technical. simple

@umunede, I was at the Saka Tinubu office yesterday Monday and the securiy guy told me dey are not accepting cv anymore that it is now online. Checking online their is no link to submit or upload cv. Am into rollout and maintenance.

Apply for a Rollout Engineer position since you already have some field experience (I'll advise that you submit two applications: one for rollout, the other for technical; however, when you get an interview invitation, tell the interviewer about your rollout experience so as to get a Rollout position; if there's no Rollout vacancy, you'll surely be recruited as a trainee into any of the departments in Technical)

After that, I was asked if I would be willing to give up my present employment for a career at Glo. I said 'yes' and the HR manager (the only one asking questions) said 'Thank you!'

so guy how many of u guys did they finally take, was with u guys but did nt make it pass the first stage.( technical interview)

@chidexCorp wen I went for the HR stage, we were 9 in total.I later hrd they called 10more the following week.don't give up. They may still contact you later.it is well bro.

@chidexCORP , my own 2 interviews (HR and CTO) were conducted in november . Seemz u did urz dis december.so I'm so certain u ll be called back.cos almost everyone of us that did the first stage passed.just keep ur fingers crossed. Ok ?
