If our hope to be with Christ is death, then what is the significance of the resurrection.

Paul called death the last enemy to be defeated, but how can death be an enemy? Surely we should look forward to death and not the resurrection since death is to be with the Lord, no?

Check out the original hebrew and greek words that the translation you're using has rendered as ""HELL""......

The KJV rendered all these words as HELL there by confusing its readers.....

1....HADES
2...SHEOL.
3...TARTARUS......

I want you to go do a brief study on those original terms and come back for more discussions.....I guess it was enilove that I showed how the word sheol was rendered in some books of proverbs he quoted from...........
