I see nothing wrong with it.

Based on recent happenings and how women are stranded in breakups and divorces, it's necessary so she and the children will have where to lay their heads in future should in case the marriage goes south.

She's a wise woman.

Secondly, that she's your wife doesn't mean she's no longer obligated to her parents. She still owes them care same as you owe yours.

There is nothing wrong in a woman building a house for her parents. Or what exactly is the issue? Is she building the house with her husband money that is meant for another project?

She has a right to build a house there if she wants. it's still her father place and her family house.

People think when they marry the woman doesn't know her own family again or she shouldn't relate with her own family.

The only problem I can have is her not informing her husband which is wrong unless if the husband is problematic or irresponsible.

If I found out from different source apart from her, I will study her source of money but won't confront her if her source of money is pure. I will now wait for as long as it takes for her to tell me. And if Satan pushed her to tell me that we should move there and demand rent from me the next thing separating me and her would be divorce letter

its a very complex issue, first of all
we need to know the dynamics in her marriage, remember a men can be the head of the house, but might be a poor person in creating a future for the kids

I don't have anything against her building a house secretly but I have a problem building it in her father's compound, first this is not a wise choice considering the future of her kids.

I wouldn't bother myself with what she does with her money. It's hard to take such in, but money, possessions and even humans will pass away no matter how long.

A woman who left her fathers compound in the name of being married, then goes back to build there is not fully invested in the marriage, so deal with this in mind.

Continue to do what is right in the sight of God, and make sure you are working hard not to be dependent on her in the future.

Be prayerful, make sure your own hands are clean, and may God come through for all who are faithful.

My late grandma had houses , my late mother had a house, all my sisters have investment properties.


Na wife you marry, no be slave. But the wife as a partner who is making her own money is required to have a financial role in the running of the household expenses

It will be the beginning of the end of our marriage, first the foundation of marriage which is trust has been eroded. So we shall leave in that marriage as strangers from henceforth. I will never trust nor believe her again. If I am the type that can womanise ,I will start looking for another wife. And if my resources can carry it I will just build another house somewhere else and move out . Or worse if all I can Japa to another country and leave the rest of my life there.
For her to do such it simply means she is not committed to the marriage. What is wrong if I am put in the picture about the plan from conception.
This is a SERIOUS matter to me .

It is normal in Edo state. The married woman will eventually return back to her father’s compound when she dies, so she’s got to build a house when she dies. Mumsi house for her papa compound don ready sef since smiley
