How did we offend this administration, how ? Because they are behaving like pharaoh, always looking for ways to inflict pain on the citizens. 85 Likes 4 Shares |

Nigerian youth are too lazy!... Something that didn't take me up to 10 minutes to do, they are everywhere on social media crying wolf.. Come February 28, 2021, most of them will still not meet the deadline and still call for another extension. Too bad! Even on this thread, you'll see them accusing the government of "inflicting pains on them".. Very lazy youth! But if it's to watch BBN and vote for their favorite housemates, they'll lavish all their time on such frivolities, but common to do something that will benefit them, they are attacking the government.. Seriously, only God Almighty can help us! 22 Likes 4 Shares |

vickydankal: I agree this admin is not a good admin, but this measure would improve the security of Nigeria and make it harder for criminal agents to operate. MODIFIED 1.Linking sim to NIN in essence makes your SIM a new ID card so to speak...meaning it would be difficult to sell your SIM to anyone...including potential kidnappers....because it would be tantamount to selling your ID. 2.Assuming a kidnapper kidnaps someone to use his SIM to make extorition calls for another kidnap victim...that adds more stress, and draws more attention to the kidnapper. MODIFIED 2 Currently, one can register up to a 100 SIM in his or her name and sell them off. These SIMS can then be sold on to criminals and crooks. Meaning that a kidnapper can make calls without fear of being traced. This new policy makes it harder for criminals. Since now, every SIM one registers for has to be linked to the NIN...which works in 2 ways 1.People would be more reluctant to sell their SIM cards....now that they are linked to the NIN 2.Everyone has to use a SIM card that is linked to NIN...making it easier to trace criminals. 22 Likes 3 Shares |

This government sha dey find money at all cost. According to the last NCC release, there are 198,961,361 mobile subscribers in Nigeria. They have said ₦20 to go about the NIN stuff via mobile operators. Do the maths ₦20 × 198,961,3611 ₦3.9 billion just like dat 13 Likes |

Useless govt always with wrong approach to issues despite all that is going on in the minds of Nigerians today, they are bringing another issues that can be dealt with later to distract us from reality on ground Is this supposed to be a priority despite all the already laid down SIM reg guidelines and after I was made to reg my MTN line with my ID Card and MTN registration slip placed on my chest for an e-photo? What happened to all the pics and biometrics? Ok, what happened to those network that caused this due to their irregularities and sharp practices? Can't they do the reconciliation in the underground? Do they even think minc and cc centres online and offline can handle this within the next few weeks? Is this not up to what we supposed to go to the streets and protest against? 11 Likes 2 Shares |

Don't expect over 100 million Nigerians to get this done in 2 months. The NIN number for SIM cards won't perform any magic that the basic sim registration didn't do. It's not like the telcom providers will meticulously match each NIN to the corresponding name and details on the SIM card. It's basically just a fill in the blank process to fulfill all righteousness. A minimum of one year, or this process will be marred with abnormalities. 12 Likes 2 Shares |

The Nigerian government is so bothered about the synchronisation of SIM and NIN so they can continue to milk us dry through exorbitant and useless taxation. They thought we don't know their game plan. Almost ten years down the line, the Nigerian government hasn't deemed it fit to provide majority of us with out National I.D. cards. Shame!!!!!! 7 Likes 2 Shares |
