Yeah we'll see but if they make it a rule, I'll desist but I find it hypocritical that I'll wear trousers outside of church but not in church. It's our 'uniform' per se in the UK. Even old ladies clad trousers over here

You must understand that sin had been present way before the law was given. In Adam we all sinned without the law. The law came to reveal the sinfulness of sin in man. Sin had no power to prosecute a man on its own, it needed the law.

The combination of law and sin brought about death. No man would escape death if God were to judge man by the law of Moses.

Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

All sinned, not even the Jew who observe the law to the letter is righteous but God gave room for righteousness through annual atonement rituals with animals until the final price for atonement was paid.

The law you clamour and solicit for has no power to make anyone righteous neither was it put in place for the purpose of making man righteous. The law came to reveal how worthless man became after the fall of one man- Adam.

The same way all sinned through Adam even before they did wrong or right is the same way Jesus imputed righteousness without the works of the law.

Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

This righteousness that is imputed by the righteousness of Christ takes one away from the realm of sin and law in the flesh into a new realm of the spirit where there is no condemnation by the law.

For without the law, sin loses its potent.
