More black women should rock their natural hair. However I can't stand short hair on a women (of any race or ethnicity)!

stillwater: @Idi cheesy lol

Enemy? I thought we were buddies? shocked You know you likey me tongue Don't deny it. tongue
Anyway, not getting married like now, I was just wondering what on earth you can do with natural hair on your wedding day. Would be bookmarking this page.
And yes wigs for now o, until I can put my hair in order, lol. grin These days I don't have the luxury of time. After seeing how Nigerian girls have bastardized brazilian weave, you want me to put that on my head?
The most I can do with my hair is just packing it in a bun or putting it in braids. All these twisting is tiresome.

I feel ya tho. I could be tiring lol.

wiLL BE POSTING MORE BRIDAL PICTURES WHEN i GET TIME.

Contradictory much? You're advocating natural hair on black women, yet you "can't stand short hair on a women (of any race or ethnicity)." Don't you realize black women who go natural have to start from somewhere and that is usually short hair? Not everyone transitions. Some cut off their relaxed hair once they decide to go natural and begin with little to no hair. I didn't transition when I did years ago and just cut it all off. Saying "more black women should rock their natural hair" but you can't stand short hair on women is a bit aimless.

gbam!!!!

i am transitioning but the big chop is definitely the best option for some and that is how they start off before growing back a beautiful head of natural hair. You cannot dislike the foundation and claim to like it natural!!

cool cool

stillwater: These pictures are nice. If only I had the patience to sit and twist my hair. I really like those curls. These days I just wear a wig jare. Are there bridal hairstyles for naturals? Can somebody stress themselves for me by posting the pictures? grin Thanks!

there is a lady from ivory coast that lives in my neighborhood and another from mozambique.
they are the BEST to ever do it!! lol i can vouch! i mean these women are awesome!

they both offered to twist my hair for me IF i promised to go natural! grin grin

so because i like you dont have the time to do it on my own, i will gladly use their assistance. i think you should rock your natural hair style and go to an african braiding salon and to get it done and well maintained.

i am telling you, natural is where its at! cool

my mom used to give me bantu knots (or chini bumps as we say in Jamaica) as a child.

they are not only good/cute to wear as a style but the twist outs (untwist the knots) are just AWESOME!!

Stop chatting shyt. Check old pictures of iman(when she just started modelling). Her hair wasn't straight at all. When I went somaliland and when to one of their saloons they were perming and flat ironing their hair. I don't know who you're fooling. You have afro hair. Afro hair comes in different textures.

I personally think the reason why your hair grows to such lengths is because you don't do much to it.

lmao....i never saw a somali with afro...i challenged many on here to show me a somali with nappy hair...they all point to one somali pic that is very old...and we dont know if his 100 percent somali.

just cause somalis use ironing doesnt mean their hair is afro...i doubt u went to somaliland...cause no somali calls it somaliland...they call the city they went to. nice try ...
