so since the incident what measures is in place for ihejirika to stop this mode of smuggle?

ihejirika must think he is talking to elementary school boys ......well, yes he was, he was addressing an igbo gathering, and not the governor and definitely not the ojora.

gasoline fumes is too volatile and unstable to accomodate a fusile material such as ied. ied contains high grade phosphorous materials. how the fvk you gonna ship that combustible combo and survive 10km of travel, much. more 1000kms?

who do you know that will carry a box of matches in an empty gasoline can and survive 10km of travel with it? an ied in a empty gasoline truck is 100 times more volatile and hazardous than the matches in a gas tank.

no wonder he has not wiped out boko, three years into a face off with them.....because he thinks narrowly of possibilities.

The other day i saw a trailer load of goats and abokis hanging ontop d trailer around ilasamaja heading possibly to Alabaragu (Lasu) side i guess. immediately my instinct hinted me that these guys might even have some bomb making stuffs hidden under the forages inside that trailer. it takes a conscious effort to pre-empt boko's incursion into lagos as there are various means available for them to enter and cause mayhem.

Most trailer drivers are northerners, boko can take that opportunity to drive in a bomb laden tanker awaiting fuel supply at Apapa depot and blow up the whole depot. Looking at the closeness of depots in Apapa, one can onlly imagine the danger awaiting should one catch fire, the whole of Apapa will go up in flames.

God help us all.

ihejirika has been fighting boko for three years. he ought to know their signature by now. his statement at this gathering proves he has no clue how to win the war he is supervising. boko was limited to Maiduguri, they slipped past him into Kano, Kaduna, Yola .....and now Lagos?

which COAS could be so dumb as to make suvh admission? That people contained into a corner section of the country posesss more intelligence network to calculate a slip through the army wall of defense and reach far into the heartland of the nation's commercial capital?

very embarassing!! if he was COAS to any president but Gej, he would be relieved of his post for that comment!!

Boko Haram is well funded. Nigeria does not have a secured boarder and does not have data base for proper identification. Lagos can be hit anyday, the security system out there is very passive.

There they go, first I would like us to reason productively here. The yoruba's mock when the igbos are hit, now from all indications, it appears the yoruba's are in greater danger and provocation. We have a few yoruba's in the north compared to the igbos there. They've hit the Igbos in their home soil but would not the yoruba's until they take it to the west. I am so suprised as to why they want to explode bombs in lagos state at all cost. My questions are, Who is responsible for these attacks, why has there been some sort of carefully orchestrated intervention whenever bombs are about to go off in mosques and worse explossions occur in churches, What are the set aims to be achieved by this act, is this political or religous, Do they want the splitting of the country by all means, what are the confessions of the arrested boko boys, what's the cost for funding wars of this magnitude, how and from where do the bokos draw such sophisticated intelligence, does this war have an external backing and/or root, and lastly, why is the north calm about it

dude, i dont know about ibo land or hausaland, but in Yorubaland every childof Yoruba blood carry a family name identity. The name tracea us and links us to the state we are from and the city or village and the ward and the compound and the specific family we came out of. its a coding syatem and its foolpoof. When this old news broke the people of Ogbomosho asked that the guy be traced to his family. Its been over a year and no one has done that.

Any yanmiri or hausa can call himself Yoruba but we know who we are.

18 year Old Boko Haram Suspect Paraded Over Jaji Explosion

Eighteen year old Ibrahim Mohammed Alilullah of Ilobu in Nigeria’s state of Osun and 50 year old yam hawker from Jalingo in Taraba state, Mohammed Ibrahim Idris, were on Friday paraded by the Department of State Security Service, SSS, as being part of the masterminds of the bomb attack at St. Andrews Protestants Military Church in Jaji, Kaduna state, Northern Nigeria, on 25 November 2011.The suspects who were arrested in Rafin Gusa, a suburb in Kaduna metropolis confessed to being members of the Boko Haram sect. The teenager stated that he was indoctrinated into the dreaded sect by Late Bashir Madalla who trained him in the use of fire arms as well as production and priming of improvised explosive devices, IEDs.The youngster told journalists at the SSS Headquarters in Abuja that he was introduced to the late sect leader by his Alfa, a muslim cleric who taught him and other children Islamic studies in Kaduna state.According to him, the Alfa, whose name he gave as Raji gave his phone number to the late Boko Haram sect leader while he was visiting his parents at his home town of Ilobu, Osun state. The leader, he further stated, requested that he return to Kaduna that he had something for him to do. He complied and was picked up by the cleric and the late sect leader to the late sect leader’s house in the state.
