Don't you think Jonathan is working in concert with the okoro people to form southern Nigeria, by all means necessary?

Well, I think so. You see, Jonathan is aware that the only two regions who can hold Nigeria together are the West and the North. He has tried to use Boko Haram to destabilize the North and to make the west hate the North but it is now clear to him that we are not buying into it, rather, our relationship with the North seems to be getting stronger. He is now at his tethers and is going for the bullseye. He wants to go for the jugular and bomb Lagos in hope that it would instigate the westerners to rise against the north and that is how the cookie crumbles. Once the cookie crumbles, he would declare Southern Nigeria and make no mistake about it - he needs Lagos for its seaport so he would force the west into the union. That would obviously spell doom for the west as the enemies from the east would be working in concert with the ss to subjugate the west.

In my opinion, the west needs to strengthen it's alliiance with the North so that even when Nigeria breaks, we would not be fighting the southern evils alone.

The west needs to wake up and start preparing as the writing is on the wall that these atrocities that wwould be coming upon us are going to be perpetrated by the ambitious ijaws and the ibos. It is no mistake that the bayelsa government was housing the boko boys in Lagos o.

Rather than pointing our guns at the hausas, we should be pointing them at the SS and ibos in our midst.

...i didnt really think you deserve a response,i ve never seen a man so ignorant in my life, that i cldnt learn a thing from him. With your slave-mentality,wldnt it be more honourable for you to slave for they igbos and they south-southerners,than remain in this your sorry state!whichever way, either together or divided, you and your ilks will remain slaves forever...pls strive towards liberating yourself and your people from voluntary subjugation, deprivation, consentaneous timidity and ijaw&igbophobia!

My biggest concern is the way tank farms were allowed to inhabit with Lagosians. Also, I have always believed that the Lagos State Govt could set up tanker garage on acquired land along the Ogun end of Lagos Ibadan expressway. Such garage equipped with lodging, monitoring & communication facilities would have resolved this new threat from Boko Haram and helped to decongest the Lagos traffic. Besides, it would have provided an ideal environment for these long distance drivers & helped to generate additional funds for both Lagos and Ogun States. We know Lagos to be proactive on such matters as security. If proper measures are taken on time, BH could be stopped. If the usual wait & see approach is adopted, BH will strike! My prayer: No weapon fashioned against the peace loving Lagosians shall prosper. Amen

From the above conjectural crap, I deduced that Oodua Republic is a mere lip service from loudmouthed jackasses. Two regions inherently shaky at the mention of Nigeria’s integration are western and northern regions. The poster had wasted his\her time ranting about the direction Yoruba peeps will point their guns. Unless a useless Igbo peep who does not understand the Yoruba are mortal enemy of Igbo, the poster does not need to elaborate. If 1967 did not teach any Igbo chap a lesson, there is no event under Sun that would do so.

You seems to be the only intelligent yoruba man on this thread. Some of them forgot that we are now in democracy and no need to hold the dhick of Fulani military officer in order to seek favor. I wouldn't be surprised these same cowards betray their own for government appointment. Turn coats are around us, rather that seeking alliance with their fellow southerners they are running to Boko Haram sponsors for refuge. Same peeps that fought for Abiola are now back supporting Buhari that said he saw nothing wrong with Abacha's actions. I shake my head for those seeking for likeness from Fulani.

I continue to wonder why the non-Yoruba, especially the Igbo on this forum are particularly excited at the prospect of Lagos being bombed! This is really disturbing as we all know that a bomb detonated in Lagos will not discriminate among ethnic groups nor spare one and leave the other. It makes me feel that there is actually a grand design somewhere to break this country, and that the BH are just playing a script carefully written by someone somewhere. Could it be that somebody somewhere is not comfortable with the peace and economic prosperity in the South-west? Or could this be an attempt to forcefully enlist Yoruba land into a violent conflict they refused to be dragged into some forty-three years ago. But let it be known to whoever that care to listen that the "land of the slaves" which have since been the Goshen of Nigeria shall be jealously guarded. This is not an empty threat!

Let's face it, every region in Nigeria knows that the future or demise of this country lies in the hands of the west. We are the glue that keeps this country together and if we are dissatisfied and want out, only us can bring the nation to its knees. We have been the calming force and rational mind of this nation and devoid of us, there is no unity; no progress.

Jonathan have tried to instigate the ibos to an uprising but he now sees that the tiger that woke up in the okoro man in the civil war has been laid to rest. No amount of bombs in the North is going to make these people stand to defend themselves. His last hope is the west and the only way to do it is to put our backs up against the wall. If Yoruba is clever like I think it is, it would look beyond the propaganda that boko haram is the North and look at jonathan and his ambitious neighbours squarely in the face and call a spade a spade. The north have the most to lose if it chooses to leave. The north sees that Jonathan is spurring them for a fight but they are clever to play it cool by not responding to his lies that the north is trying to destabilise his government. They want to patiently wait for their turn in 2015 (of course jonathan have now taught them that once you get power, you must never let it go).

It is inevitable that Nigeria is unsustainable and patch as we may, it would still crumble but Jonathan using the west to do his dirty work would not work. He has his militants and the ladies bag carrying massob so he can go to work if he's brave enough. Any attempt to bring the west into this nonsense would see his swamp levelled and his kinfolk wiped out of the history of not only Nigeria but mankind in general.

A word is enough for the wise but we know that Jonathan is a f00l!

The Igbos made the mistake of attempting to secede and carry all the oil territories with them, all under the pretext that the Feds reneged on some Aburi non binding agreement, and they are still paying for their crimes today.

This time around the fishermen from the SS and their co conspirators, Insha Allah, will permanently reside with fishes when all is said and done.

please this is my advise to all Nigerians. let us be realistic no sentiment's
why Boko haram?
A mother of eight children know telling its neighbor's my son hate all of you,he want get rid of all of you, and at the same time, that son start to kill his brothers not the neighbor's anymore why?
the mother continue to tell that same neighbor's he is still planning to kill you, while showing somethings she discovered from him, as he want use against them, and up to now nothing has happened to them.
now this is the question.
is the mother planning and executing or who? as no any of her son is under any court trial for the crime committed internally or to the neighbor's.

We're interested in peace so we can do our biz, Igbo is super-duper interested in peace and it shocks me why some people would come here to peddle diarrhea of the mouth. We lose more than any other in times of crisis and it baffles me why my Yoruba brothers would think we're out to bomb them. Politics aside, rhetoric aside, Igbo no dey shit where e dey chop.

Yorubas will never cease to amaze. So from their comments here one can rightly conclude that: Out of unfounded fear and suspicion of the easterners, they would rather remain perpetual slaves to the north and endure Bokoharam bombings than seek an alliance with their southern neighbors. That is the height of Cowardice.

For the record, I OPPOSE the negative treatment of Igbos, by Nigerian authorities and institutions, which may be designed to continue to punish them for the war. What I stated in my write-up is fact, but do not assume that I support the misdeed.

Oga, Thank you for pointing out the gross neglect and marginalization of the people of the Northern region. It is this very act of injustice that breeds foot soldiers for Boko Haram. Heads of states from the North along with their co conspirators from the South, neglected and continue to neglect these ordinary people in the North. Intellectuals such as you turn a blind eye of the gross injustice making you enablers. You are therefore equally guilty.

Lets hope GEJ can invest at least N200 billion out of the security budget into rectifying the said misdeed across the North in the first phase of the Amnesty program, then spend another N100 billion on drones to checkmate the remaining MEND terrorists in the SS and remnant Ansaru operatives wherever they are located. That will still leave N500 billion for the rogues in power to steal under the guise of security.

It should not take a Bill Clinton to point out the real cause of BH violence.
