He has tried to use Boko Haram to destabilize the North and to make the west hate the North but it is now clear to him that we are not buying into it, rather, our relationship with the North seems to be getting stronger. He wants to go for the jugular and bomb Lagos in hope that it would instigate the westerners to rise against the north and that is how the cookie crumbles. Once the cookie crumbles, he would declare Southern Nigeria and make no mistake about it - he needs Lagos for its seaport so he would force the west into the union. That would obviously spell doom for the west as the enemies from the east would be working in concert with the ss to subjugate the west.

In my opinion, the west needs to strengthen it's alliiance with the North so that even when Nigeria breaks, we would not be fighting the southern evils alone.
