Reyginus: Which premature trust?

Why do we have to believe to see the signs, evidence etc? Why cant we be shown these signs to convince us to believe?

Bear in mind, in the past few needed faith to believe in things. They assumed their environments were created by God or gods.... hence the evidence to convince them. Now we now we know the natural process for the creation of the universe, earth, man etc we need REAL evidence to believe in the existence of God/gods or any other deity.

For believing and laying reliance/trust on a being as if it really exists.

That I think is not the point, kay. The concern is the reason for believing and trusting. So long the there is no interference that limits the span of thinking as a result of inculcating an already accepted belief, anybody is a freethinker.

Rhetorical question, nonetheless as one with brain will tell you that not all tumors are fatal.

Not actually the tumor you are used to.
I meant tumor in the metaphoric sense.
To rephrase it.
What happens when the thinking process is restricted to certain areas?

Wrong!!! @bolded
A free thinker is somebody who's not afraid to ask questions, is not afraid to identify with his truths, and seeks to validates doctrines or laws. He could be secular and he could be religious.

You @logicboy clearly are not a free thinker when you insist that such a person cannot be a follower of a faith. You are slave-minded, not free. How can you be free when you refuse to acknowledge the possibilities of other forms of logic and existence just because they are not your chosen path(not because you know all things). You are just as slave-minded as every other bigot out there.
Nyc xplanatn. Are u a free thinker.
Am studing physics and people do say physicist are free thinker . How true...
