I remember having her songs from lord of the. Rings years back which I was barred from listening to.enya's songs kinda fits into my lonely moods and helps me unease tension.the same people who say are songs are demonic listen to jay z and kanye.she's a great lyricist that's a fact.

If that was to be the case, my soul would have been the devil's by now cos Enya is on my top playlist, she sends me off to sleep most nights.

I guess people just assume that cos her songs have a kinda eerie edge that other songs don't, plus its not everyday that you find an artiste who can perform in 10 languages, she's just wonderful jare .

Wow I thought I was the only Nigerian that devotedly listened to enigma! Guess I was terribly wrong. I've got all their 7 albums and still listen to em till date

Cold blooded: I can fight for Enya, Enigma, Yanni and their likes. I found solace listening to their songs.

Talking about being "demonic" have you got time to watch Enigma's videos or even reflect on d title or her songs like "return to innocence","principles of lust","beyound the invisible" "way to eternity"etc; she uses occultic signs a lot and mimics the Catholic church. I think her songs are more esoteric than Enya's.

The Robin Hood movie wasn't Done by Enya alone,but with the braonaine family of ireland known as CLANNAD. Enya was a past member before she went solo to create her very own powerful psychadelic sounds filled with melancholic overdubs rich with a most touching reverb sound. Clannad did some other great songs like Strange land and an award winning song lifetime featuring Bono of Rock band U2. Enya sings in Latin,celtic pronounced "KELTIC",Latin,English and a personal language she invented. She lives a very reclusive life and records all her music in her home in Dublin.

I think a better language would be saying her songs are spiritual than demonic. There is a world of difference between the two. Her songs, played in the right atmosphere touches your real being;the soul. If you'll be sincere her songs leaves you feeling better than you were before listening to it.

I have heard people say this too. I used to listen to Enya two years ago but i had a glitch in my system that wiped off all my songs. My favourite Enya song is "Only time". There's this other group "the cranberries" that i listen to once in a while, i love their "zombie" track.

Awon ode t'oo tii koja village won. Enya sings traditional Celtic music. The same way Miriam Makeba and Simphiwe Dana sing traditional Zulu/Xhosa music. Saying that traditional Irish music is demonic is like saying that Juju or Akpala music is demonic. I tire for ignorant Africans sha. If you dont know something, google is your friend, chai.
