It is because her songs are soooo surreal and beautiful like heaven. You have to have been there( Heaven) to be able to compose those kind of music, especially the ones in ancient celt language,she must be an Angel.The one that tickles my fancy is that Old Robin Hood Theme song ( If you were born in the early 80s and you have seen the series Robin Hood on NTA then you would know what am talking about)I want to say a big shout out to Cold play,Nickelback,Evanescence,Avrilavigne, Linking park,Breaking benjamin and Tracy Chapman.Y'all the best.Shoot, i forgot Bone Thugs. |

I used to think I'm the one onlu who truly loves Enya's songs. I have over 100 tracks made my Enya and I don't joke with any of her CD's in my collections. I have been on the lookout for a new album by her since last year and I do not think she has made any album since her last one Amaranthine. Enya's songs always have a story line and one of her compilation CD I have has the stories to all the 53 songs in the pack. I find peace whenever I listen to her songs and I am so addicted to listening to her songs. 1 Like |

Enya songs opens up my mind and places me in new realms of existence. My imaginations gets quickened and the visions so clear. Its then i can see into things;into minds and into the earth we live in. I was so addicted to her pile of songs until one day a car almost rammed into me where i was packed peacefully while listening to her songs. Then i knew there was something more to the songs. I will still keep listening to her songs though they stand the chance of opening you up to forces unknown. I love them. |

Funny how people say Enya's song is demonic. I just shrug and laugh. I don't believe there's anything demonic in her songs. Her songs are just weird being that she sometimes sing in gaelic since she's Irish. what would people then say about this band, Florence and the machines. I always get chills when Florence is singing. Now that's what you call demonic. |

ocelot2006: @ OPHer songs are basically a mix of Irish (Gaelic) folklore + new age songs.Spot on ....Maire/moya Brennan is so close 2 her sis Enya in d contemporary new-age genre but isn't in d limelight dat much ...her album PERFECT TIME is off d hooks wit d track "perfect time" itself guaranteed 2 send one in2 ethereal bliss n instill d desire 4 a closer relationship wit God. Other albums such as TWO HORIZONS n WHISPER TO THE WILD WATER jst ve 2 be heard. |

ANYWHERE IS my favourite!! there is nothing denomic there. the harsh prof in the INDIAN film, the three IDIOTS, played these kind of songs to relax....research have shown that cattle produced more milk when these songs were been played!! |

When I want my one year old daughter to fall asleep, I simply play Enya and she just falls asleep within a few minutes. Sometimes she just sit down and listen intently to it for hours before finally falling asleep. |

Enya is like a balm to my soul I listen to her songs and am at peace.sometimes I don't know what she's saying(ebudea)and I don't care.I'm in love with "how can I keep frm singing, last star by moonlight, memories of trees. I guess some people are jst narrow minded when it comes to her type of songs. |

Only goons such as Gej supporters will say Enya's songs are demonic just like their leader elect said evil spirits are behind the shortage of electricity in Nigeria to south African investors. She sings in Latin, music is not meant for tbe body, it is targeted to the spirit to lift it up when it is down. I have all albums of Enya, i listen to them all time. What will you say about Yanni?
