I listen to enya when in the mood. I got only 20 of her songs in my phone now and i'm seriously looking for more.
In school, i'v witnessed that some drama groups use enya's songs(especially adiemus) when acting some demonic scenes and because of that some peeps are getting confused.
So much love enya. My favorite among her tracks i got are salva me and now we are free. I even study people( friends and neighbours) based on their reception of stuff like 'enya's music' to know their kinda personality

do you guys know that she has a comet named after her? her music brings out emotions in me and does it so easily. sometimes when I listen to her songs I can envision scenes to go with the song. I think is was the Robin hood series that made me fall in love with her music.

Funny how people say Enya's song is demonic. I just shrug and laugh. I don't believe there's anything demonic in her songs. Her songs are just weird being that she sometimes sing in gaelic since she's Irish. what would people then say about this band, Florence and the machines. I always get chills when Florence is singing. Now that's what you call demonic.

Cold blooded: I can fight for Enya, Enigma, Yanni and their likes. I found solace listening to their songs.

Talking about being "demonic" have you got time to watch Enigma's videos or even reflect on d title or her songs like "return to innocence","principles of lust","beyound the invisible" "way to eternity"etc; she uses occultic signs a lot and mimics the Catholic church. I think her songs are more esoteric than Enya's.

The name enigma alone should tell u her kind of personality; mysterious, unpredictable, vague and stuff! She is what nature defines as a shadow! I had like 2 of her albums a year ago the kind of instrumentals and sounds I heard each time I tried listening to her sons scared me! But I'm happy now when my hard drive crashed I couldn't recover her shit!

jaymichael: I love Enya. people assume or presume her songs to be demonic because of the language. she sings in her native old Celtic language and Latin and a bit of English. you know Latin is the language of magic and people associate the old Celtic language with pagan rites and rituals. she terms her music to be of the genre NEW AGE (music for the purpose of inducing relaxation) but she has won more awards as a musician of WORLD MUSIC (music influenced by local cultures) many people I know that presume her music to be kind of demonic are people that enjoyed ROBIN HOOD in their school days but they don't find the programme or the sound track demonic. No, it was not done by Enya. BUT it was done by CLANNAD; a group composed of Enya's siblings and uncles.

visita: This afternoon i was listening to enya's playlist on my music player, while reading. Some friends of mine came visiting and it wasn't long after i had ushered them in before one of them recognized the voice from the music blaring from the sound system. 'Is that not enya'? he asked and i replied in the affirmative...I was surprised because the track that was playing as at that time was not a popular one like 'only time' that almost everyone is familiar with. After a while he begged me to change it because it was making him feel uncomfortable and when i asked how a song could make someone feel uncomfortable he said enya's songs are demonic and anyone who listened to it risked his/her soul being trapped by the devil. It wasn't the first time i'll be hearing it but what baffles me more is that most people who think of her song this way can't even explain what makes her song demonic, i guess its because her genre is kinda unique...or what do you guys think?
