Yep that's because religion and whatever they preach has clouded your mind, but I'm not saying religion is a bad thing either.
There are good teachings that you get from religion that helps the society.
But there is the spirituality, the real deal here which is your personal connection, experience with the universe.
You discover your spirituality when you're open minded with every belief system(i.e no religion or belief is the best in the world). I'm not saying you should be an atheist because in spirituality you in your higher self or higher energy or something.
Youve got to make more research on this to understand more.

In this world, there are many ways to live it.
As for me, i believe whatever you feed the mind is what it's gonna work on. So it's all in your head.
