nnofaith: why is it that when the christian god needs to pass a message to his "sheep" he sends a man?! cant the holy spirit just send a BBM message to everybody so that everybody is on the same page and there are no arguements. Yahweh needs to upgrade!pathetic thinking. God will never bless your unbelieving heart with a sign. God will not change his standards because of a man. He resists the proud. 1 Corinthians 1:22 Jews want miracles for proof, and Greeks look for wisdom. 23 As for us, we proclaim the crucified Christ, a message that is offensive to the Jews and nonsense to the Gentiles; 24 but for those whom God has called, both Jews and Gentiles, this message is Christ, who is the power of God and the wisdom of God. 1 Like |

Joshthefirst: pathetic thinking. God will never bless your unbelieving heart with a sign.Summarizes the whole action nonsense succinctly. Nice, I don cram this verse, We will never have proof or wisdom from Christianity, we just have to believe and accept, then the nonsense will make sense. |

Joshthefirst: pathetic thinking. God will never bless your unbelieving heart with a sign.your god still needs to upgrade! the "holy spirit inspired" con is no longer working for you guys. heaven needs a total system upgrade. yahweh needs to install computers and all. sending messages thru pple is completely outdated. for a start the holy spirit could open a facebook page. |

[quote author=OLAADEGBU] Spiritual poison that almost cost me my life - thanks to GOD I am now free from the madness of it all. I am sorry that you now bite the fingers that fed you and sponsored your education to the tertiary level with their tithes and offerings when your parents forsook you. So it has now turned to bearing false witness ? When have I told you that a church or the deeperlife cult for that matter sponsored my education when I come from a family that is financially stable ? And when did my parents ever forsake me ? Your daftness is getting worse by the day Liar should be added to your Pastor title, don't forget hypocrite. Seeing that your church majors in hypocrisy what is new - Bottom line : I no longer follow cults and their leaders who are drowning in false doctrine and confusion. You are unwittingly promoting the lies of SATAN. Whats that bible phrase again, "....many shall say to me Lord Lord.............." |

frosbel: 1. The bottom line is that denominations are divisive and are created for the fulfillment of mens dreams, egos and empire building , they do not represent Christ in any form or shape. Lies. |
Re: Christians, I Am So Sorry by Nobody: 2:39pm On Nov 14, 2013 |
alexleo: Bro, you are free to continue with your style of worship, only do not lay down man made rules and regulations for others to follow. Treat it as your preference which others are not obliged to adhere to. One question I must ask you though is this, if the Spirit of GOD is one and the Body is ONE , how come we have over 40,000 denominations each with their own Surely God is not the author of confusion, no ? |
Re: Christians, I Am So Sorry by alexleo(m): 2:45pm On Nov 14, 2013 |
frosbel: I agree with this to a laarge extent. Not just too many denominations only, but most of them hate and fight each other. 1 Like |

frosbel: I am sorry that you almost saw the light - thanks to the 'Awake' magazine that has now set you free. frosbel: Can you categorically deny that you were not sponsored to the tertiary level by the tithes and offering of the Church you call a cult when your financially stable family chose not to? frosbel: All I need is for you to deny that they refused to pay for your school fees and I will rest my case. frosbel: There's no need for ad hominems all you need to do is to say that those claims are either false or true. frosbel: The ball is in your court to prove me wrong, sir. 2 Likes |

[quote author=OLAADEGBU] Ola, I choose not to engage in boasts , but let me indulge you a little, I went to some of the best schools in Nigeria kudos to my parents who made sure I had the best start in life. Coming back to your childish point, indeed there was a time when money stopped coming in due to a break away from the catholic family tradition. Indeed during this period , beloved brethren assisted, but this was for intermittent expenses here and there, nothing to do with tuition or otherwise. And guess what ! This was during the later part of my final year at university and did not include tuition or accommodation which I funded. How you have turned this upside down into a bogus story , is really beginning to expose you as a liar and false witness. To keep parading with the title of pastor while indulging in this myth is the precise reason why many people including my humble self , are put off religion and cults like yours in general. When they leave your sect you resort to slanderous accusations, no wonder most of your places of worship are dead grave yards. The ball is in your court to prove me wrong, sir I do not need to prove a liar wrong Sir , the facts stack against you. I apologize if my leaving your sect has caused you pain, hence this personal vendetta. With time I hope you will get over it and who knows , come to know the real Jesus. |

DrummaBoy: @ frosble, I sent u an email but got no reply. Did U see it? sorry brother, I saw the mail but had not yet replied, work has been madly busy and combined with family life this means I hardly have time for anything else these days. But yes, your proposition is great, will let you know nearer the time. Once again, my sincere apologies. |

frosbel: ^^^ Hi Frosbel, It's beeen a looong time. How are u? I believe all is going smoothly. U mentioned abuse a lot of times in that write-up, do u advocate for divorce in an abusive marriage? I know God doesn't condone oppression of any kind, but there is no clear cut instructions on what to do in an abusive marriage. Do you have any scriptures to steps to take in an abusive marriage? |
Re: Christians, I Am So Sorry by Nobody: 1:42pm On Nov 22, 2013 |
Tgirl4real: Sorry for the delay. I am not advocating divorce for an abusive marriage only in the case of adultery as Jesus said. Everyone is responsible for their choices or decisions. The solution for an abusive marriage is to remove yourself from the abusive situation for a time , hoping that things will change/improve. However, from experience it is not uncommon that many abusive husbands are also serial adulterers etc. Why would I advice my sister or niece to remain in such a marriage ? Never, it could have dire consequences for the children especially , and even bring harm to the woman. The same can be said about women who oppress or cheat on their Husbands. The rule of the thumb is to never do anything in a hurry, always listen to that small inner voice in the conscience. The African way of staying with the husband till he kills or maims you is not on at all. |

frosbel: 1. The bottom line is that denominations are divisive and are created for the fulfillment of mens dreams, egos and empire building , they do not represent Christ in any form or shape. Claiming to know the reason behind all denominations, defining what is 'not fellowship', defining what shouldn't be preached, defining 'the Tithe' (whatever that means to him) as daylight robbery or theft. . . Isn't this simply another set of man(Frosbel) made rules? |
Re: Christians, I Am So Sorry by Nobody: 4:04pm On Nov 22, 2013 |
debosky: man made rules ? lol. I have made no definitions. Anyhow, if you find nothing wrong with most of the points I made, then you are on the side of those who have been who have been hoodwinked. |
Re: Christians, I Am So Sorry by debosky(m): 4:11pm On Nov 22, 2013 |
frosbel: The tithe is theft - is that a definition or something else? Fellowshiping with the back of peoples heads is NOT church - is that a definition or something else?
Presumption is the source of many errors. |
Re: Christians, I Am So Sorry by Nobody: 4:25pm On Nov 22, 2013 |
[quote author=debosky] the way it is practised is indeed theft and even worse robbery. Using money for a purpose that was not intended by Jesus is akin not only to misrepresenting him but also to preventing others who have real needs from having their lack resolved. Fellowshiping with the back of peoples heads is NOT church - is that a definition or something else? Sitting in a pew and listening to a Presumption is the source of many errors. Indeed , like many of the presumptuous pompous false prophets that plague Nigeria with their garbage gospel |

HumbledbYGrace:freedom and slavery are essentially one and the same as your freedom from a thing make you a slave to the opposite. christainity is not freedom to do what ever you like but freedom to live right without sin(slave to righteousness). freedom is not stop paying tithe or stop making restitutions or living in lies and immorallity and be hidding under grace. freedom is not denouncing the asembly of saints because you've eaten same aple and see that you are "naked". freedom in christianity is to be able to say NO to the flesh be able to "subject your body and bring it under". being able to deny oneself of sensual gratification is true freedom. |

Pastor Olu T: Frosbel, in as much as I agree with some of the things pointed out, my problem with u is that u hardly post messages that are solely for the spiritual uplifting of souls. I want u to understand if u dont already know that u are very influential on this forum n that it will go along way in helping others if u start concentrating n directing ur messages towards building the body of Christ.first time i see truth in your post |
Re: Christians, I Am So Sorry by Nobody: 7:29pm On Nov 22, 2013 |
freedom from the rules and regulations set by men to bring Gods people back under bondage. Rules such as the tithe lie , how we should dress , eat, walk, work, talk etc etc. We have been set free from the tyranny of men who try to rule in the place of Christ. |
Re: Christians, I Am So Sorry by debosky(m): 12:12pm On Nov 26, 2013 |
frosbel: You are creating your own rule - no different from those you are castigating. You can't pass judgement on all practice of tithing - no one has given you that authority - it is another case of self-appointed rule maker. Sitting in a pew and listening to a pope pastor preach his infallible doctrines ( btw there are over 40,000 denominations, so 40,000 different doctrinal sets ) , is dangerous. Again you're making your own rules - no one has given you the role of evaluating what constitutes fellowship for other believers. Indeed , like many of the presumptuous pompous false prophets that plague Nigeria with their garbage gospel That may indeed be so, but in principle, your laying down of presumptuous human rules is no different. 1 Like |

[quote author=OLAADEGBU] Campus and House fellowships are run like a church should be run , i.e helping the needy amongst them. Without boasting I also helped numerous brothers while at college and it is such a no biggie , in fact it is expected , only religious people like you delve into such trivials. Your other questions are too childish to even consider. |

Re: Christians, I Am So Sorry by debosky(m): 9:59pm On Nov 26, 2013 |
frosbel: I can, it is simply false and multitudes as coming to realize. No you can't - many tithe of their own volition and it is acceptable to God as true giving. Your man made condemnation is meaningless in their regard. So you see, you just want your own rules to replace the rules of others. No difference. |
Re: Christians, I Am So Sorry by Nobody: 10:03pm On Nov 26, 2013 |
debosky: Tithing in the first place is unscriptural, collecting it is theft, not using it for its intended purpose is robbery, enforcing it is blue murder. It is a known fact that 95% of all tithes and offerings are not used to help the poor and weak , but the projects of men and men. 1 Like |

Re: Christians, I Am So Sorry by debosky(m): 10:09pm On Nov 26, 2013 |
^^ Nothing unscriptural about giving a percentage of your income to the group of believers you fellowship with, be it tithe or tenth or any other percentage. Whether you like it or not, instances of abuse or even prevalence of abuse cannot and will not render the genuine giving of others invalid. Don't make your opinion into a rule, else you're doing the same thing as you're accusing others of doing. 2 Likes |
