Viper:

Seun, your posts make me laugh. You question like a lost child.
Typical, if you don't have an adequate response, just delve up an ad hominem.

Viper:

Why not open your bible and ask it this questions so it will answer you ,
You won't find many answers there, only more confusion, unless of course you put your brain in limbo (excuse me my Catholic lingo wink)

Viper:

rather than this-credit the creator and put yourself into un-necessary trouble.
Give some solid evidence for the existence of that creator, before you presuppose his existence. You're babbling.

Viper:

Same goes for K2.(i know who u are) smiley
Scare tactics? I wonder if it's any better than the usual lying for Jesus

I dont need to scare you. It's your life to decide, lol , do what you like with it.
I should give you evidence that God exists? Give me an evidence that you dreamt, or of what you dreamt about last nite or that humans dream?
Definitely, the bible will cloud itself fromyou when you read it to find faults.God is not beggin you anymore go and read revelation 22 properly. if you like, be with him, if you like, be against him, that is your cup of cappuchino.

Put it this way, can anything exist outside of God's knowledge? The answer is obviously no, and that would include evil. God was aware of the potential and extent of evil, but His angels and other intelligent creation weren't.

Does this mean that God created evil in the manner in which we are thinking, based on our limited knowledge of how evil or sin operates? The answer is no. God didn't create evil in the sense that He is responsible for all we are seeing now in terms of effects.

When God created the universe there was no evil in substance, or in practice, but only in potential. The potential of it could have only manifested based on His creatures' choice, or free will. With God knowing all these variables, He laid out the necessary means to protect His creation from sin and evil through a system built on love and justice, long before such creation of life ocurred, be they angels, other intelligent creation, or humans. As a result God made available a choice to obey or disobey, hence His intelligent creation had to be aware of the potential of evil that could only have manifested through selfishness.

So the onous would now rests with His creation not to make the wrong choices. It so happened that one such angel challenged the system, and decieved 1/3 of God's angels to rebell. The chief ringleader who was called Lucifer, was responsible in testing the first human couple into falling for the same deception he invented in heaven. It is he who is still decieving many in the world today, through his army of demons.

God since that time has been pleading to His creation to stay on the side of justice and love, and to resist pride and selfishness. In the fulness of time His Son came as a sacrifice to save those who would accept His father's plan to restore love, righteousness and justice.

God didn't force us to sin, so He cannot be blamed.

Absolutely agree: it is interesting that christians ignore what their own 'holy book' states. If one examines Isaiah 45:5-7, the reader comes across a 'god' disclosure that states god is the creator of good and evil.

CALL ME AND I WILL TELL YOU WHO CREATED EVIL BUT PROMISE ME ONE THING YOU WONT TELL GOD THAT I LEAKED HEAVENLY SECRETE TO YOU. PROMISE. grin
Re: Who Created Evil? God? So He's To Blame? by MIZIEYA: 11:32pm On Sep 30, 2006
Bobby:- your premise is quite mistaken: to assume that god is not fallible is to rewrite the whole bible - which christians do in any case- look no further than the myriad biblical versions available in this era.

God couldn't find adam and eve and had to question them. God didn't know in Kings that a new king had been appointed, god really isn't up to date on a lot of things, this includes fashion,

Bear in mind that Judaism borrowed most of its religious philosophies from other cultures: Sumer, Egypt, Caanan, Zoroastra- the latter being the knowledge base where the concept of 'satan' was borne but lateer changed to a more meaningful version of the 'satan' christians and muslims bandy about.

I do advise a more knowledgeable based premise to make a stand upon as well as perhaps not using rhetoric and speculation to make a point: basically god is silent on all matters: god requires human intervention in all things- from humans declaring gods daily thoughts to humans declaring what god says regarding our every day habits - you may notice that people who quote god can never once practice what they preach,

Bring back Elijah and co wink

Bushfellow, but will your ground breaking news also lead to the disclosure of the Ambrosia you-know-who was drinking whilst creating evil??

why should God be to blame for evil?!!
if u plant 5 stalks of cassava and four of them grew well and one doesnt and u implemented the same cultivation practices, watering, fertilizer application, will u be to blame for that one that did not grow well?
if u have a 2 dogs and one attacks an innocent bystander, will u be to blame for your Dog?
is God to blame for those touts in Niger Delta?!!!
come on!
please ppl, straighten yourselves out and dont blame God for the evils of the world because no matter how hard u try, some things or people will always go bad, speak of free will, grin

It's simple. He created evil, so its his fault.

How the hell can these Christians somehow try to get around it? THERE'S NO WAY AROUND IT!

Simple logic. There's nothing to talk about.
Re: Who Created Evil? God? So He's To Blame? by solosimple(m): 4:33pm On Apr 28, 2009
God is not the author of evil. Go and study, if you need help simply call for it.
Re: Who Created Evil? God? So He's To Blame? by BloodShed1: 4:52pm On Apr 28, 2009
But don't you also contend he created EVERYTHING?

If God is omnibenevolent how can evil exist?

If he's responsible for everything then he's responsible for evil. Simple.

Always making these ludicrous exceptions but if we were talking about another God we wouldnt even be going this far into this subject.

the bible says that the bible god created evil. . . .

Isa 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

According to Isaiah 45:7 the Lord that you go to church and worship every Sunday created evil:

"I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things".

There are no such things as "good" or "evil". Things happen, and whether they are "good" or "evil" depends on context. The whole idea of God setting out a set of rules and regulations that are to be followed literally is kinda ridiculous.

but thats a whole other debate,  haha,  not interested in putting my self thru that any time soon. Alleluia  wink

So why did god create evil? Not only that, when he was creating man he gave man desire to do evil, be s sexual and look for knowledge, also god gave us weakness.. why did he he give us all this?
