vickyO:see this one ,Abeg shift my comment was clear enough, I wasn't talking about acidosis but his brothers ,besides I wouldn't be surprised if him himself has. Some misconceptions about the Holy Catholic Church. Anyway how does it Change the fact that most protestants(the name alone is a huge turn off ) aka heretics don't know what's the Rosary, yet the moronic heretics keep criticizing it |

POPE II: I was talking about your alleluhia , fire & co you use it to pray and you repeat it incessantly so I don't care wether you consider it as prayers or not. Fix yourself .it isn't a prayer, I am educating you on that now. slow poke. and didn't you read my post before calling the scriptures trash? see what your confusion has done to you, you fail to adhere to the truth when it's being made known to you. didn't the Bible say prove all things? and by proving the catholic doctrines, we see that there is no truth in most of them. They are all man made doctrines with no scriptural backing..... AND YE SHALL KNOW THE TRUTH AND IT SHALL SET YOU FREE.......... |

vickyO:we should say one prayer per day right? I guess if your pastor come and ask you to pray for him, after doing it no matter what you ain't going to pray for or with another person. You this hypocrite, so if the member of the heretic business venture you patronize and call church start praying the holy Father you won't pray with them because you have already said one early in the day ? Abeg does your non well defined repetition concern only Catholics? I can bet 50k that you have often found yourself asking repetitively : Jesus please help me Jesus please help me pass my exam, I beg you Jesus to .....on your way to the exam room. |

"But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother." (Matthew 12:48-50). |

Sal C: If actually you worship Mary or give her the glory that belong to God, then that is your problem not mine. hahaha! I will always shake my head and I am very very armed to prove what is wrong, wrong. You did not take time to go and read after they might have told you that Philip went to Ethiopia. See how it happened. Acts 8:26-27 New International Version (NIV) Philip and the Ethiopian 26 Now an angel of the Lord said to Philip, “Go south to the road— the desert road—that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” 27 So he started out, and on his way he met an Ethiopian eunuch, an important official in charge of all the treasury of the Kandake (which means “queen of the Ethiopians”). This man had gone to Jerusalem to worship, SMH!!! Read on, you will see that Philip preached Christ to him not Mary, v35. The ethiopian knew and worship God but did not know about Christ. When he accepted Christ, he no longer needs to visit a priest in Jerusalem to offer sacrifice to God but he start Doing that through Christ(Highpriest) in spirit and in truth(this one is bone for you as regards trinity). You don't praise any other person(Mary) in the presence of God. It is like praising a kings servant in his presence for hours cos you feel the servant is helping you get somethings from the king while you devote few minutes to the king. Will the king be happy? That is how you give God's glory to Mary in His presence. Did you see the oral tradition i posted about catholic. I too will stand on that. SMH!!! |

POPE II: Is Elijah a divinity ? Don't you know there are 3 levels of heavens? When God created heaven and earth, where was He? When heaven and earth will pass away, where will He be? His throne is established in the heavens and "i saw a new heaven and a new earth depending from the throne of God." did His throne pass away too? When Paul said a man was caught up in the third heaven, 2Cor 12:2, did that not give you a clew? When Jesus said no one has ascended into heaven, did you not believe him or you think Elijah went to where the Father is? Go and read. Don't you see you are over-labouring her with unnecessary questions. For all those you guys have send to heaven, you better start explaining JOHN 14:3. |

vickyO: The same word you call the bible was cannonised amongst many writings by the same catholic church you are taking and wasting your time to castigate.. Do you know there where many scriptures that were withdrawn from the bible you have today? Do you know the father of protesters in which you belong removed 7 books from the bible? That he wanted to remove the book of james and revelations but even his follower didn't succumb to that? That the 66 books you carry today is short of the same book you call the bible in whole? That 6 denotes incompleteness from bible and 7 (73) means completeness? Even 3 is unique for completeness I.e the trinity? That most of what you do in christianity was passed down to you by the same catholic church? where is it in the bible that marriages be performed in church? Have u ever wondered how it started I BEG YOU IN THE NAME OF GOD, PLEASE MIND. YOUR BUSINESS AND LET CATHOLICS BE, YOU CAN'T DO NOTHING TO CHRIST's CHURCH If you think because u know too much, what have being practised for almost 2,000 years and still being practised is for you to correct, then I don't see how you are different from the pharisees christ talked about in his time here on earth.. I repeat "YOU KNOW NOTHING" but the devil is using you to fight the church of christ in your foolishness. 2 Likes |

try69: Funny how you always talk about the books removed bla bla bla.. Yet you haven't even practised one simple instruction from the same bible you "wrote" I can imagine Satan (The one time greatest Chorister in Heaven), laughing at Don Moen and other worthy gospel singers, saying; "see them, singing as if they know how to sing.. I, who sang with various string instruments from my Crown to my feet in Heaven.. I am the father of songs, therefore, I am the father of gospel songs, I am the first singer, no one else.. I remember how I and other arch angels used to move around in the garments of glory.. Chai! Jesus, it was my friend Michael who spoke to HIS Mother - Mary... I know all these na... abegii! I am the boss and father here... The 3rd most powerful Haba... Bible that was written by James, Paul and others.. small pickins of yesterday... Why should I listen to them Abegiii!" 1 Like |

Acidosis: [s] You have said nothing meaningful Your problem is ignorance.. That was how a lady once asked me why I confess to God in the presence of a priest. I then asked her if she can get married without a pastor..she said NO, for what! Bla bla bla.. I told her to show me in the bible, she couldn't ..then I told her if marriage is so important that she would have to do it before a witness in the minister of God, then reconciling with God after I have sinned before a witness in the priest is of more importance to me.. You don't pay to think..it's free 1 Like |

Roman Catholics are lying when they say Luther or "Protestants" removed 7 books from the Bible! Here are just a few Roman Catholics who also "removed" the same 7 books from the Bible Jerome, Erasmus, "pope" Gregory I, "Cardinal Cajetan (the same Luther's opponent) Oh, meanwhile the Roman Catholics only voted to add the 7 books in 1546 by: 25 for, 15 against and 16 abstained --- they couldn't even get a clear majority! Oh, and here is something from the Roman Catholic organisation's own encyclopaedia http://www.newadvent.org/fathers/2711.htm lol "38. But it should be known that there are also other books which our fathers call not "Canonical" but "Ecclesiastical:" that is to say, Wisdom, called the Wisdom of Solomon, and another Wisdom, called the Wisdom of the Son of Syrach, which last-mentioned the Latins called by the general title Ecclesiasticus, designating not the author of the book, but the character of the writing. To the same class belong the Book of Tobit, and the Book of Judith, and the Books of the Maccabees. In the New Testament the little book which is called the Book of the Pastor of Hermas, [and that] which is called The Two Ways, or the Judgment of Peter; all of which they would have read in the Churches, but not appealed to for the confirmation of doctrine. The other writings they have named "Apocrypha." These they would not have read in the Churches. These are the traditions which the Fathers have handed down to us, which, as I said, I have thought it opportune to set forth in this place, for the instruction of those who are being taught the first elements of the Church and of the Faith, that they may know from what fountains of the Word of God their draughts must be taken." The Roman Catholic Bible of 25 for, 15 against and 16 abstained is even contrary to tradition. 1 Like |

Now following this thread. Its so obvious that some people have started spreading lies and being hypocritical on issues even on this thread. I have seen one that was condemning Luther for exactly the same offence they are guilty of. what level of hypocrisy! |

try69:Blah blah blah.... the scriptures I quoted on proving, aren't they in your so called Catholic Bibles? You must prove all things.... Why are you scared of proving the Catholic doctrines? I guess you already know the truth but you just don't want it to set you free. And to pinpoint your level of ignorance, the Church of Christ isn't denomination but Christians. Until you see yourself as the temple of Christ, you will forever be imprisoned by the chains of doctrines imposed on you by your so called infallible leaders. Work out your salvation, prove all doctrines, sift it and digest the good ones, open your mind of knowledge and embrace knowledge before you perish for the lack of it. |

vickyO: You could not point out my lies, rather you are going back and forth your emptiness..that's what people that know nothing do. You don't even know bible history..you were only told there is a book called bible. Do you know there were books quoted in the bible that are not in the bible? I guess this is also new to you I believe you couldn't even comprehend what enigma wrote there because he didn't drive you anywhere.. But anything anti-catholic is ok.. That's how I define hypocrisy If working out your salvation means hypocrisy like you are doing in condeming what you do not understand, and without good inference, without thorough reason, without logical construct, without any rationality, then I can conclude that you lack the christ-likeness you proclaim.. I wonder how all the fires you have been calling have not burned up the catholics you call idol worshippers.. Funny people |

try69:1)If you say I'm empty when I say prove your doctrine, it shows what Christian you are.(you don't study the Bible) 2)Should I tell you some catholic stuff I think is cool? Making sure the Pope doesn't leave with anything the church gave him while he ruled, holding unto doctrines in oneness, and a little others. 3)Some Pentecostal beliefs are far fetched and you should have seen posts scrutinizing some of them on nairaland and I speak on them too. 4)The thread states the faults in some of your doctrines and I concurred with them. all you guys have to do is show us where and where in the scriptures that supports the doctrines listed not sprouting unnecessary talks and insults. 5)And no one calls fire to burn Catholics, well, none that I know of. 6)Ok, in the Gospels, Jesus told us to test every prophet and doctrines they teach by their fruits. do you know the Greek and Roman Catholics martyred thousands of Christians the doctrine of praying to Mary makes you not to look only to Jesus as required of us by Christ himself. the prayers to the saints also. You make idols, which is forbidden. The truth is out there/here, blowing in the wind, dancing in the pages of the scriptures, the earlier you digest it, the better. 1 Like |

vickyO: See! Madam vicky, nobody asks you to validate any catholic teaching.. The points I have given you should be enough for you to keep quiet and go back to study.. ABI you want another shocker? Ok take.. "The christians before luther all venerate Mary" Suprised again? Or you want to know why? Ok #we all are born with sin that's why we need to be baptised #adam and eve where the first people without sin #Satan brought sin to the world through Eve in the forbidden fruit #God brought salvation for mankind from sin through Mary in the fruit she bore The church which is the pillar of truth as stated in the bible taught those and it is quite logical..Who then is one voiceless vicky somewhere in a particular country called Nigeria to disprove it and without any reasonable inference? That you cannot contest any of my points tells me a lot about you.. We encounter your likes everyday.. Baseless points! I have shown you what you do that are not in the bible, I have shown you that not the bible alone is the word of God. What then are you trying to prove? GO AND LEARN! My time with you is up..I'd say nothing no more |
